I ride in S. FL and I would like to see a BRAG club started up. Pompano Harley claims they might start one soon. |

We need to get a group of Buell riders together here in S. FL and start something up ourselves. It seems like anything Buell down here is lagging far behind everywhere else in the country. |

Guessing from the number of people that actually responded to this S. Florida rides post, I think it's going to be a very small group of Buell riders. I just got back from bike night sponsored by Pompano Harley and out of all the bikes I had the only Buell. Where are all the S. FL Buell riders?? |

Hi, I am looking to move to Florida (central-Orlando area) due to my childrens medical conditions. So I have been monitoring the Florida Badweb sites and it seems pretty slow (well more like extremely slow). The only thing I can figure is the weather is so much better there that everyone is riding instead of posting here. But as soon as we get moved in I will be willing to drive a little ways to do some rides. Larry |

And then there was 3!! Maybe by the time you move we'll be up to 4 or possibly 5! Give me a shout when you're ready to ride. |

In six days we built a group of three...I cant wait to see how many we are in another week...but I won't hold my breath. Most Florida sport bike riders define riding with high RPMs and low torque. |

I think I figured out the problem...All we have to do is start a new thread with huge color font. Maybe all the S. FL Buell riders just haven't found this thread yet.....(Try not to laugh too hard.) |

Now if I can only figure out how you change the font color and size on the new thread subject line????? I can make it bold, italics, and underlined but, I cant't get it to take color or a bigger font size like some of the other threads...they must be special.} |

I checked into riding at Moroso but you need a competition license and the next time you can get one will be in October. Anyone with a faster legit way to get on that track? http://http://www.morosomotorsportspark.com/Newsite/Default.asp |

Anyone riding to Daytona? |

I don't mean to dump on you guys but there seems to be a parallel between Buell riding groups and entertaining roads. I know "Snake Road" is all you guys have but really I think the track is the place to grow a group down there. You guys have Jennings, Moroso, Homestead, and Barber isn't too far. Or you could just move to the mountains like I did a year ago. It's good to see Buellers collaborating in the Wicked South anyway. Fast&Loose. NUTS |

Nutsosane...I think you right. The track is going to be the best place to congregate. Any ideas? |

Ideas? check out the Frank Kinsey racing school. Just search the internet for that. I would call Frank he seems to be in the Brevard area and might be able to accommodate a group of Buellers. I have yet to be on the track myself but I am really going to try this year. Fast&Loose. NUTS |

I called Kinsey...he was very nice and informative. He gave me some dates but they were all in Jennings. Also, I rode to Daytona on Saturday and met Eric Buell and Willy at the Daytona 500 Club. Thanks Pompano Harley for the good time! |

Another note: When I went to Daytona, the guys I went with said they were working with Pompano Harley to start a BRAG Chapter. Make sure if your interested to contact Dave in sales. |

For anyone looking for another place in S.Florida to buy gear. www.CycleGear.com has just opened a storefront on University Drive between 44th and Commercial on the east side. I went there tonight and they have everything.http://www.cyclegear.com |

Ahhh, finally a group in this area talking about riding together. I see a smattering of guys riding solo- blue 9r saw ya-yellow 9r-ditto-some dude with a 9s? license (BUELLER) that was my idea for a tag, we are almost neighbors, and the unlucky bastard dave in Boynton? he crashed and gave up on bikes- some dude in Jupiter on a 9 or 12s you were witnessed riding a Buell solo. All are guilty and shall quickly assemble to represent Buell in this Japanese wasteland of south florida. Or die a slow painful lonely existence. My 04 xb12r needs some company! And where is this so called snake road I hear about NUTSO? |

Hey, I am hoping to be down there early fall. That big bad word, "Money" is the problem. Trying to decide if we can Buy or need to rent and prices are climbing fast down there, seems we are going to be a ways out of the city anyway. But when I get there some of you "Lone Rangers" need to join the Posse...Oh sorry this is Florida not Texas.... |

Nugent, you can ask any of the ricers down there. A gaggle of clowns can be found Wednesday nights at the Hooters in Pembroke Pines or Friday nights at Fridays on Sunrise Blvd. Be prepared for the "stink eye" you'll be receiving from every chromed idiot the tropics can muster. Basically it cuts north from Alligator Alley running through the Indian reservation. It is WELL known by the local revenue collectors so beware. I would rather fork out $250 for a track school than I would for a speeding/ wreckless driving ticket. That's just me though. NUTS I suggest anyone who hasn't done so already get yourself the biggest map of your potential riding area you can find. Central florida has some curvyness especially throughout the orange groves. Of course you could always do what I did.... move to the mountains. |

Sorry for taking so long. I bought mine off Dave, but I'm even further into the wasteland, here in SOUTH Florida, Homestead. Anyway, I've spoken so about 4 Buellers waiting for a "home" for a group. I bought my tuber from Dave at Pompano about 2 years ago. I'll contact him and see where the plans are now. I had my 2000 Lightning on the track at the last Homestead track school, and I can tell you it did us proud. I like the idea of being "track" linked, and can probably supply the contacts for Homestead. Don't know about Moroso, which makes more sense for most... |

I just picked my race kit up and installing tomorrow. Caught it right on time...your right , Harley/Buell are done selling race kits and everything after this will be an aftermarket part...I guess it'll be bye-bye warranty for all else. |

Uber, Did you get it at Pompano? Do you know if they are sold out? I'll call Dave later, I need to find out status of a local BRAG chapter. |
