Come on C-3 group, look at the adventure thread, C-3jr ride. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy. Like JInance said, you don't have to have kids. Just a motorcycle and the need to get away for awhile! And at that, you really don't need a motorcycle. JIM |

C3 Group - I have gotten our second order of C3 decals in and this time ordered C3 jr. decals for our children. Carlee saw hers on her helmet and said "that's tight!!". I have 12 - 3" C3 decals and 5 - 3" C3 jr. decals. If you are interested in getting a decal or two, please let me know. The cost is $5.00 per decal - this is what the printing shop charged me to have them done, nothing more. If you are interested in a larger decal for your vehicle, let me know. We can go up to 6" for the same price. I ordered a 8" magnet for my truck and the cost was $12. These decals look really good and are easy to apply and can be removed without damaging your helmet or whatever you put it on. Any of the sticky residue can be removed with Goo Gone. Kristi |

Hey Kristi, Thank you for asking -- it's appreciated. Dad's doing remarkable well. In fact we may get him home for Easter. He looked great yesterday and I talked to him this AM and he was eating breakfast and complaining about the hospital's Heart Diet :-) G2 |

I had to pull out the M2 to get to the riding lawn mower yesterday. I had washed it the last time I rode it and in the sun the bike shined. Man that is a good looking bike. After servicing the lawn mower and cutting what I could get with rider, I had to take the M2 for a spin. I still have everything to do to the M2. We have a rear shock and grips on the way, plus I already have a rear tire and the carrier for it. The only thing I have still to get or on the way is the main shaft gasket and V&H catch can w/breather. Yesterday, I could not just roll it back into the barn. The bike has been sitting for about a month but it is still the best starting bike I have ever owned. I pulled the choke, primed it twice and it fired and idle like I rode it the day before. So bad rear tire and all, I took a spin around town with it. Man that is still such a fun bike to ride. With the V&H muffler talking to me, that M2 torque and the forward leaning riding position, the bike just feels totally different from the Uly. The low end power of the M2 is just impressive. Running through the gears the bike jumped up to eighty with no problem, and first to second shift the bike wanted to lift the front tire. I was not on it hard, probably half throttle and four grand shifts. I can wait to get it back on the road! When I got back, Kristi came over and got on the M2. I asked what she was doing, and she said "appeasing you!" The Bike with the Corbin seat, which adds about an inch to seat height, was too tall for her. I'm wander how tough it would be to find M2L parts. I still have the stock seat and can have it recovered. She says she rather ride in the back though, but it's a start. |

Happy Easter Everyone! The kids went off with their Mom yesterday for a few hours and I went for a ride. I'm beginning to learn the roads around Harris Lake & hw 42 pretty well. |

Hey Brankin, what is that protusion from the base of the bunny? Whatever it's supposed to represent, it does make him an Ether. |

Frank sent me an E-mail like he does every year on this day. Attached to the E-mail was a pic showing the current state of his X1:
While looking at the XB paint designs, this one reminds me of an old Battle 2Win magazine cover bike S1. Anyone else see any similarity?
Jlnance, Can't be his cotton balls! Is it no wonder they buck like funnies? 1313 |

Oh that was bad Brankin.... On that note Laura and I went out and rode around for awhile this morning, the Blast and the sporty are running well(though I need a clutch adjustment it is tough to find neutral). I think Jim has found a decent place for a sunday group ride, out near lilington, east of Sanford...west of Fayettenam.. Just a thought.. |

As I was saying, NC-27 out of Lillington is a great road. I plan to use it during the C3-Junior ride to get over to U4euh |

I took the Blast out tonight to scout out the park mentioned a few posts back. I was about a mile from the house when all of a sudden the bike gets a LOT louder.
All of sudden I've got strait pipe on the Blast. I sounds kind of sick, but it's really loud. I drove by some cows and all the calves took off running. Fortunately, I've got a spare muffler which I think came off Laura's Blast. Oh, the roads I found were great. A few of them aren't paved. I had the Blast a little sideways. |

Hey Jim & C3, Well Dad's doing great; exceptional's a much better way to put it. It's hard to believe in fact -- we'll continue along the path of getting better. Strangest thing happened today,,,,,and this isn't a joke,,,I think someone's hiding a Uly in my barn :-) My wife thinks she's really sneaky too,,,,should know more sometime tomorrow so until then I'll play stupid (very easy for me to do too.) Bigdaddy- that's GREAT news about your Dad. I was wondering how he was doing. All went well I take it. The other tidbit of news sounds good too! Your wife sounds pretty darn good to me! Obviously you didn't look hard enough for all of the Easter eggs! |

Hey Odie, Yea, things couldn't have went better for Dad. He's doing exceptionally well at the moment and in fact we have to watch him pretty close or he'll be out and about -- he's feeling really good, but still has to be cautious (something he's not familiar with.) The other deal is pretty funny and the wife must have really jumped through some hoops to make it happen. Here partner in crime, little Greg, must have been the logistics person for this exercise. I'll know more this evening, but I'm pretty pumped. I'm already getting my 'needed bits list' together. We'll be having the annual 11-81 BBQ this summer (there's a number of other classes normally represented) and I'd love to see you show up!!!! If it's nothing else you know it's a good time :-) G2 |

My wife thinks she's really sneaky too You're gonna cry when she gives it to your son! Thats great. You're really gonna like this bike. It will fit you much better than the tubers you've been riding, and the riding position will be better for your knees. I don't know if you ride w/ your wife or not, but she will really love it too. Passengers rave about these bikes. See how much room she has: I hope she gives it to you soon. I want to see it at C3 Jr. |
