Jim, No need to take more than 4 days. Both organized rides I have heard about are planning on 9 or 10 days. 300 miles a day is just silly. I agree - 3 or 4 days max (2 or 3 nights on the road, travelling light) |

I'm planning on going to Willow Springs to watch the races on Sunday. If anyone would like to ride up with me, I'll be leaving from the San Bernadino area. James |

Court, you betcha. If it weren't for Jerry's unbridled enthusiasm, I probably wouldn't be riding a Battle Blue Firebolt, probably wouldn't be an honorary SoCal BRAG Club officer (right, Ebear?), probably wouldn't have ridden some of the best SoCal roads around (Palomar, Engineers Rd, Breakdown Alley, Mesa Grande, S3 -- yes, the county engineers actually had the foresight to name one of their twistiest roads after a Buell), and... well, you get the picture. His SoCal BRAG club is having a weekend ride/meeting/ride in 3 weeks, Mar 8 & 9th, so I'll relay yer greeting. Ferris, not only does Jerry organize strip bar rides, he dresses the part too. Ask anyone who saw him in that outrageous pimp suit in San Diego for the Calif BRAG Tour kickoff. Sparky |

Anybody here on this board out riding an X1 by the Lake Elizabeth area this morning about 1000. (could have been an M2) - I was surprised to see a Buell there... and now can't recall enough to tell which it was - I turned off at that intersection. Riding with a BMW ?? I am the guy on the black and orange S3. If you are in the area, get in touch. Steve |

hi Steve i'm at Lake Isabella, about an hour west of Ridgecrest. it's a nice ride from Palmdale: west past Willow Springs Raceway and up over the hill thru the wind farms into Tehachapi, then a short stint west on 58, then north at Caliente to the lake on the legendary Lion's Trail. do you ever get up this way? Steve: Go to: 35.66559 North 118.42676 West That's the center of the Lake. I have good friends on several different sides of the Lake and one in the porcess of moving there. Great riding. Court |

Ferris - was that you yesterday - on the road heading through Lake Elizabeth? We stopped together at Leona Valley at the stop sign. If it was you, you were riding with a partner on a BMW. I got your location at Lake Isabella. That will be a soon-in-the-future ride! (This coming weekend is out - doing some volunteer work at Work) I was wearing the totally beat-up 1-piece blue/white leathers. (by the way, just uploaded a pic of me and the bike) |

Steve, you sure it was an X1? If it was an s2 that may have been our very own S.B. Jim and Kidcoocoo - they were in the hood. |

Matty, Not sure on type. Could easily have been an S2 - I was looking at the engine and the Force intake. Didn't see the rear of the bike. They were riding behind me past the turn to Boquet off Lake Elizabeth Rd. At the next stop sign, tried to say HI but they were rolling straight through. I had to make a left to pick up the other guys for our Saturday ride so we didn't have any time to chat. Just a surprise to see a Buell out there. |

Matty, Jim did just put a Force intake on his S2. Steve, Was it the Buell dark blue with a white frame? Was the beemer light blue metalic? If so then it very well could have been Jim and Kidcoocoo. |

Timbo, Definitely Blue/White - Bimmer was definitely light blue metallic - probably was them. Ferris, we might just put together a ride up around Lake Isabella. It is a great run. This weekend is out, prior commitments... old song |
