I know it's kind of short notice but I'm having a Sportbike day at the dealership Oct 8th,10-3:00 I had about a day to put this together. You can help me pull it off by coming! So far I have planned, Sportbike bike show Helmet toss contest, men's and women's, see who can throw my old helmet the farthest. Burn out pit available for those so inclined, it's almost winter here in Wisconsin so might as well burn that tire! Specials on bikes,t-shirts,hooded sweatshirts,parts Buell demo rides! Food of some sort, not sure yet. Band? Working on it. More details to come. Who can come? Anyone want to help me? | ||

Well, if you don't get a BBQ rig, you are more then welcome to ride over to Waverly Beach for our (Fox Valley Jail Ministries) fund raiser. I am sure most sportbike guys wouldn't be interested in the cruiser style ride around Lake Winnebago, but we are having a live blues band and BBQ rib buffet... | ||

Dave, thanks for your hospitality Saturday. The band & the food were GREAT!  And thanks for lettin' Toni take the CityX out. She's decided she wants one now! She thought I was nutz when I said it will "feel" different than the 12S. Those Pirellis really do transform that bike. Boy was that a chilly ride back to Waukesha. | ||

Not a good turn out. Glad to see those that did make it. I think it was a combination of weather and short notice. Mainly just demo rides and that's always good. We will try again in the spring with a better plan! How'd your ride go? | ||

We had 53 bikes for the ride and raised a couple thousand for the Jail ministry. We were happy. We learned a few things to change for next year to make it go a little smoother. Food and music were good though! HUGE thanks to Appleton Buell and HD for donating prizes and letting us display 2 brand new bikes! I personally didn't even get to go on the ride. I spent the afternoon putting a new heater core in my Dad's Jeep. I was (is) still recovering from the flu/cold. For some reason sneezing in a full faced helmet didn't sound like a good idea. | ||

Well, seeing as I was the last one to post something here 2 months ago! I see that I am going to have to welcome myself... ha ha just kidding. I will be joining this BRAG group as soon as I get settled in up here. I just got a job up here and will be moving in on New Years Day. I am looking forward to some fun sportbike riding, and maybe a few track days. I also have a shop with across from Waverly Beach so if you need a place to wrench, maybe I can help. If you don't know me, you will soon! P.S. Don't forget about the Ice Racing at Waverly Beach Jan 13-15. I will deffinately be going to watch on Saturday 1/14. | ||

Koz.... I may need to make a return trip to the shop. With all the time I spent on the frame, I never got around to side stand and cylinder heads. I'm thinking the weekend of January 7th or 14th. It shouldn't take too long with the cabinet. Thanks again to you and your dad!!! | ||

Hey Dave, Is it true that Appleton Harley offers a free 10,000 mile check-up (and front fork fluid change) for all new BRAG members? I thought I read that somewhere? | ||
