What's everybody doing this weekend? As far as riding goes I'll probably be on the Springer as I'm getting ready to go into the Buell to retorque the flywheel sprocket shaft nut. I need a big assed torque wrench now (240-260 ft. lbs.) |

Jim N - He's been looking for those pictures! This will make his day. Of course he couldn't "own the corners" if he had me as a passenger!! As we both found out the past weekend, the twisties aren't meant for me yet! I like the long sweepers, yes the boring rider. My comfort level is not what his is, or Tonya's for that matter. I couldn't have even did what Tonya did on Saturday - brave woman! I know I've said it, but I'm going to say it again, I really had a great time in Suches. It was really nice spending time with Larry, Jim and Rebecca again and getting to meet Mike, Jim and Tonya. I'm hoping that Suches can be one of our annual events. C3 Central was a nice getaway. Next time we'll have to extend it to leave on Monday. Everyone have a great weekend. Kristi |

I'm married, so I have to clarify that what I think I will be doing this weekend is likely different from what I will actually end up doing . . . I'll be playing cars tonight, possibly followed up by some go-karting. Tomorrow morning I have to do taxes, tomorrow evening is dinner with the in-laws. Sunday morning I'll be in church till about noon. Other than that I'm wide open and I'd like to put some miles on the XB. I *think* my torque wrench will go up to ~250ft-lbs, I'll look when I get home tonight. You're welcome to borrow it. I'll even throw in a set of saddlebags. |

According to Mr. Wral weatherman its supposed to be a pretty big washout tomorrow. Lots of rain and stormy type things, but then again when do they ever get the weather right? Oh and look what one of the 3% put together... Me, Jim, and Brankin(He looks pretty relaxed considering he is without his beloved Buell 1313, Huh?) are the first bikes on it. Yeah I saw that look on Tonya's face at TWO saturday evening. Jim has a long list of sucking up to study after that trip. |

Anyway to save that picture, as dial up is impossible to deal with? To the C-3 group, on behalf of Tonya and myself, THANK YOU. I had a great time. Couldn't have come at a better time, although I do have next week off do to spring break! JimN, Rebecca, and especially Kristi, you all went out of your way to make this enjoyable for all involved, you rock. Looking forward to next year already also. Thanks for trailering Mike, that made life more bearable, you know what I mean, with the other half! Havn't had to do much sucking up. Dug up the front yard, planted bushes, laid down weed mat, worked on porch some more............and that was on Sunday night!!! |

Will I be the only one at the meeting tomorrow <==== Maybe I should've said later today...? I cut the night short with the 'wild women' in order to get my beauty sleep for the meeting tomorrow - yeah, don't expect too much... Well, when the only one who I stood a serious chance with *released* me last night, whatcha gonna do? So who's gonna show their faces tomorrow at the meeting? I promise I haven't had anything with onions...yet... 1313 (Message edited by 1313 on April 08, 2006) |

If you look toward Tenn. You will see riding something with a F-(#) may not involve Honda, and may be one of those last-best rides... |

Brankin, I can't make it to the meeting, I have folks coming to look at the house. To be honest, I've been so wrapped up in getting ready to move, I had forgotten about it. Dave |

Glad I checked here before I headed to Goldsboro. Now I am up early on a Saturday. Even left the bar early last night in preparation for it. I guess that's good though because the bar we were at had karaoke last night and when they asked me what I was going to sing I jokingly said "I'm a little teapot, short and stout"... When they called my name I tried to bolt for the door and had trouble leaving. Since one was grabbing onto my belt I tried removing my belt and found that it wasn't my belt that she had a hold of (Now, where's your mind? Clean it up a little, why don't ya?). Anyways I was able to get out of there without having to sing, which is good because I have a feeling that my singing performance might have gone over as good as my performance after eating onions... Well since I am up early I might as well pay some bills... 1313 |

Cool shot Mike! Larry, Kristi and I are with you, I want to go back too. We need to start planning our C3 Junior ride Mike's and Jim's way for May. Then may be we can go to my Father-in-Law's place in the mountains of western Virginia. There are roads there that you slow down for the blind hill instead of the blind curve. Snake Creek Rd is like riding a roller coaster. I rode Carlee down that road the last I was there and Man was that a ride! |

Oh yeah, it happened again. Just a little different this time. The last Friday before a scheduled meeting I met a Yellow XB9S Lightning in New Bern. Yesterday I left work a little early and as I was sitting waiting for a stoplight to turn green (all too common in New Bern...) I heard a familiar V-Twin sound. I looked over to the right lane and saw a Yellow X1 Lightning. So the friday before the next scheduled meeting I am expecting to see a Yellow 1996 S1 Lightning... Carry on, 1313 |

I think we were all too busy to do the meeting this weekend. I do not know if I will be able to attend a meeting this month anyway. This is the last month of Spring semester, Easter, two birthday Parties for Carlee and Luke. Then I am going to Indiana to help our Defunct Director become a Hoosier. I will be trailering the Uly there, and riding it back some 700 mile ride in one (Two) day(s) with some detours through the mountains. Either way it will be a busy month for me so I will not be available until May 6th. We have a couple things we have to decide on. 1. A new Director for the Group. 2. We need to start working out the details for C3 Junior Ride May 13th. |
