Way to go Toni, She feels the need for speed!!! The plastic looks like it's translucent black instead of blue. Or is it the Pic.? How are you 2 doing anyway, it's been awhile, and how's little Thomas? |

Yup, it's translucent black. Buell calls the color "Kick Ash" It was kinda funny actually. They didn't even know they had it at 1st. Their stock list, had it listed as the normal translucent blue. But as soon as Toni saw the black, she fell in love. We're all doin' great, thanks for askin'. How about "all y'all"? So who's all going to IMS on the 10th? We're probably leaving about 2PM from Waukesha. We've got a 7 passenger mini-van, so we've got 4 spare seats. Mike, ya gots any miles on that Uly yet? Anyone else wanna continue the "Hamburger Haus" run monthly? When Dora and I went, we wandered around a bunch, and accidently found some pretty decent back roads. |

Steve, you can count me in on the IMS trip, on Friday. I can meet you in Waukesha, or you could stop by Juneau Ave, and pick me up on the way. Let me know what works for you. David Klosterman |

Steve....do you know anything about a "dealer party" hosted at Hal's during the homecoming? It's mentioned in the newest Fuell (but no details). Sounds to me like somebody is trying to pee on our parade!!! |

Haven't HEARD anything. I talked with Kirk late last year, and hinted that Hals would maybe want to host homecoming. Considering how pathetic the Buell "presence" was at West Bend HD for the '05 Homecoming. When I emailed Mary & Peggy at B.R.A.G. about the lack of info on the '06 homecoming events, she emailed back a couple of weeks later, saying they were talking with a dealer about some activities. I just figured it was Appleton. I've not seen the latest Fuel, so I don't know what's going on. And neither Kirk nor Caralee have mentioned anything about it. Our meeting is Thursday. I'll talk with Kirk then to see what's going on. I might be able to stop in there earlier, but I'm not sure if my workload will allow it as of right now. |

Anybody know if Hal's has any older FL's or FXR's in stock down there? Also, not to compete with Steve, but Course Suzuki/Ducati is having a grand opening on Saturday for their remodeling of their building and will be showing the Daytona races on several big screen tv's. Dare I wear my Buell jacket????? It will be interesting to see how the Homecoming pans out this year. I don't think I'll be going to the races, but might be able to pop in to one of the gathering places for a short visit and looksee. Take care. MikeJ ===== I just checked their web site and see they have one Police model FL and one FX of some vintage. Oh well, probably still too far apart on trade/price to deal anyway. I think you folks have a meeting tonight, don't you? Have a good time and post a meeting report if you could. Thanks. (Message edited by mikej on March 09, 2006) |

Well Mackay, looks like I'm going to the St Patty's day parade on Sat, a pre-party/lunch before the parade starting around 1:00 and then a Pub Crawl after, yea my friends like beer !! Won't make watching the races, I didn't know the parade would be this weekend, kinda cool though cause now I can celebrate it twice, mmmm green beer ! Hopefully I can catch some of the races somewhere, but doesn't look good !! I'm reading all the posts regarding Daytona and the races though !! Hopefully they'll keep the pics coming too !! Going to try and make the meeting tonight, all depends on work, and work sucks !!! Mikej, don't be scared wear your Buell jacket !! I'm looking forward to the races at Homecoming, and hope to see you sometime during the homecoming, you always entertain me !! CJ |

Well, the email I got from Course said something about a "frozen snot ride" this Saturday, and it mentioned Lu-Lu's. So, CJ, if you're pub crawling (much better than post-pub ridin'/drivin' by the way) you might wander (or crawl ) into Lu-Lu's since they usually have the tv's going for any active races. Not sure if they have the SpeedVision channel though. Steve, If you've got the inclination to test the waters a bit, maybe ask the fine folks down at Hal's how much an M2 or S2 would be worth in trade towards the Police bike, or the FX, but the Police bike is a little older. If they say straight across then I'll be right down, ice or no ice on the roads. Enjoy Saturday, it should be a good race regardless of who finishes where. I'm thinking that with 3 or 4 Buells and 1 or none Ducati in the top 20 slots it will be a bit interesting at Course, assuming the reports in another thread are accurate that is. |

To answer the questions from the homecoming thread; yes it is really me, and yes I am still alive! Been busy with work and the family. Grace starts school this fall. I can't believe that! I did get the bike out for a short spin on Saturday. Man did that feel good. I hope to use my bike for commuting more this year. At about 80-100 miles a day, it should save me some gas money. Doesn't look like I will make any of the homecoming events. Maybe the races on Sat. or Sun. I have limited vacation time due to a family reunion in NC this summer. |

Aaron, where the hell are you priorities?!? Reunion Vs Motorcycle event... Hmmmm... I know, I know.........they are scheduled every 4 years and are actually a lot of fun. It usually about 60-70 people and lots of kids and cousins that I don't get to see that often. There is an outside chance that we won't be able to go because of Sara's work schedule. Unfortunately I won't know that until after homecoming.....} |

Kinger, that's what we've pretty much decided. Gettin' too late. And with only one, it's easier to move around at a moments notice. Next year we plan on doing a cross country ride on the bikes, with Thomas. |

That pretty much sums up our thoughts as well Steve. It is pretty easy do almost anything we want as a family right now. If all goes well, I MAY get to ride the bike to NC for the reunion. That is a very outside chance though. I will still make my annual trip to MI in May. Looking forward to that already! |
