Ok, I'm working on a new project. (I just started building it today) Waterloo BRAG has its own website. It's still in the infant stages, and I'm still trying to get a handle on the site. I'm sure it will go through some changes in the near future. Tell me what you think. www.waterloobrag.org If there is something you think the site should have let me know. |

Thanks, I think im gonna do a bit more work before I post it out there. I want to add a calendar, and some sort of bulletin board that everyone can post to for questions and such. Any other ideas? |

Craig, The website looks great! Is it ok if I post a flyer or two here in Dubuque? I figured I'd check first. Bring one of your rider handbooks with ya too, suppose I'll join the Waterloo BRAG chapter since there isn't one any closer. If nothing else, I bet I win the award for longest ride for a prime rib sandwich! |

I hope the benefit event went well this evening. I was all but headed out the door and got a call from one of my roommates who had wrecked her car on the way home. I went out and got her, roads here were pretty bad and we started getting some freezing rain right after I got home. So, a no-go. Craig, Please PM me an address where I can send my contribution to. Suppose I'll see you all in January sometime! |

Craig - Thanks for the update. I appreciate the fact that you have remembered me for so long. However, I put 20 hrs. into my Honda over Thanksgiving break and found out that I had been driving on three of 4 main jets since I bought the bike 6 years ago. So, I cleaned out that jet and immediately found gobs more power. Now I am looking forward to updating the suspension, brakes, and cosmetics to make it even better. My deal with my wife was that I would keep the Honda if I could fix it, and I have, so I am. So, I may get up there to look at it sometime, but I am no longer in the market, at least not for a few more years. However, I am hoping to be up there some this spring/summer for a Rider's Edge course for my wife, and I am hoping that the class leads to the purchase of a new Blast. So, until then, thanks for the heads up, and perhaps I'll see you around. By the way, I love what you've done with the website. It looks great. I was wondering why you are going to Chicago and not Minneapolis for IMS. Josh Davis Cedar Rapids, IA |

No_rice, Unfortunately, school is still going on into June so I'm doing just the weekend events. I'm planning on heading up to the Saturday Road America races, leave Friday, late afternoon, go as far as I want, find a cheap hotel and finish the ride fresh on Saturday then do the same thing to head back home so I'll be back on Sunday. I'm purchasing my ticket through Buell and I hope the noon track ride gets included again! |

The location of the IMS trip was not my decision. But generally the Chicago event is larger than the Minneapolis one. All in all, a great trip for the cost. |

Craig - I happen to be going to Minneapolis today for IMS, and will probably be going right past the dealership. You don't happen to have some of those Buell hats do you? I have the coupon. I can't think of anything better to wear to the IMS than Buell merchandise. Josh Davis Cedar Rapids, IA |

Excellent, I will make every effort to stop by on my way out town. That will give me chance to say hi again and to look at that 06 XB9R. You know, I ride my honda because I can't afford a new one right now. But I have Buell in my heart every time I ride it. Thanks again for that demo ride. I made my mind up for the rest of my life. Craig - I am sure you noticed that I didn't stop by yesterday. It just so happens that my wife's manager told a little white one and told her that she could get off early. However, we didn't leave Cedar Rapids until about 6:15, and wanted to get to minneapolis before midnight. So, another time. Maybe on the way back? Are you open on Sundays? |

I was hopeing that I didnt miss you. It's no problem, I know how it goes. We are not open on Sunday (thank god). We have plenty of hats, and time to get one. |

Craig - is the Chili Cook-off/Swap Meet at the end of Feb. for HOG members only, or are they just the sponsor? That sounds like a good time for me to go get my hat, and my wife can show off her chili. |

They are the sponsor. All the proceeds go to local Boy and Girl Scouts. It's a good event, thanks for putting that up. |

Craig - do you know if there are going to be dealer demos at Silver Eagle anytime this year? I was browsing through the Buell Events page, and they have events planned for lots of other dealerships, but Silver Eagle was not one of them. |

We are not getting the Buell demo fleet. We dont need them, we have demo's every day that the weather is nice. I dont think we have ever had the actual Buell demo truck come, I know it hasn't since I've been here, which is about 3.5 years. |

Don't forget Silver Eagle HD/Buell will be at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, IA this weekend for the UNI Sportshow along with several other motorcycle dealerships in Waterloo/Cedar Falls. It is a basic outdoor sports show, with boats, campers, camping & fishing equipment, etc. For more info, go to www.iowashows.com

Looks like I might miss you tomorrow. I am going to stay home and watch the 200, then go to the show after I know where the XB-RR's placed. Unless, you have the race on there, in which case I could watch it there. Ooh, that would be awesome, but highly unlikely. |

I wish! I'm stuck out there, but have the DVR set at home so I can catch the race after I get back. I have a feeling that I wont be answering my phone for a day or so until I can watch the race. I dont want to have it spoiled for me. I have to leave straight from the show to Minneapolis and wont be back until Sun evening. If I had any way of having the race on, believe me it would be! |

Two things... Mike Boomer and I are planning on heading up to Appleton for the Homecoming events Dave is putting together. We're leaving Friday, June 2, late afternoon. Dave has a cookout planned for that night at the dealership for Buell guys and gals. He has set up a deal on rooms right down the street from the dealership and I have reservations for one room set. We'll all head out to Road America Saturday morning, a 50 mile ride, for a day of fun at the races. I don't know what's planned for Saturday night, yet. Mike and I might check out some early Sunday races then head back to H20-loo before it gets too late. He'll be out of school but I have classes Monday so we will be getting back late afternoon or early evening. Anyone interested in joining us? |

($10) Just curious. let me know, I plan on taking advantage of all the Buell rides if I can. And also, is the slimey run a ride or is it just a show? I just like to be informed. And I dunno how to be sometimes.. GAH!! I NEED A NEW CLUTCH! workin on it.. |
