I sure am glad we were out riding our Buell STREET bikes because the ultra-hyped RACE bike didn't finish the Daytona. Great ride, great gun shop, marginal company. LOL |

I know Keith, I was bummed to hear the XBRR had a rough 200, while at the same time super excited to run my Lightning around Virginia's fine mountains. I need to stop by the shop one day when you aren't so busy. I want to hear first hand what your DAYTONA was like. NUTS |

Nuts, A fine ride indeed! If I could have just gotten you to stop sniffing lugies as I was trying to eat my delicious burger then it would have been better. Hearing you pull that thick mucous back down your gullet made me nauseous when I looked at the mayonaise on my burger. It was thick and yellowish which, when combined with your grotesque noises was somewhat unappetizing to say the least. Now on to the race bike. I bet the Gixxers' finished bwahahahaha! I need to ride to the shop with you to meet this fella Keith that you brag on so much. Maybe he can give me some pointers on trying to keep up with your crazy self. I saw the ad earlier but didn't mention anything because with predator season over I figured you would be in riding mode. Don't worry, plenty of time to get an HMR by June. Next Saturday I HAVE GOT to get the front tire switched before we head out again. Maybe we can get it taken care of early and then head to the gun show? |

Jackie, Nut's, I see you guy's are still at it. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Haven't hooked my computer up yet, still useing my son's on occassions. We had three National AHRMA events Last week( thats vintage racing) We entered two and watched one. First race was in SC and we got a 2nd place, lead most of the race and got passed right at the end.2nd race was in GA, we watched that one, didn't have a halfmile bike to run. 3rd race was in Jasper FL and we got another 2nd place finish, not bad for National event's. Im still running back and forth to VA moving furn.,was there on the 9th and will be back on the 19th to get somemore. You guy's be careful, I enjoy reading your antic's.......Charlie PS Keith, I hope you had a good experience in Daytona. I feel like your riding a quarter horse in a throughbred race. Don't get discourged and try to keep it fun. |

Keith, I got just the lifestyle change for ya! I used to weigh 250 and have gotten down to and maintained 165-175 (depending on cycle)for 2 years. The best part is it isn't a diet. You get to eat PLENTY O' FOOD just better quality stuff. If you want to hear more just ask. Charlie, Good to see ya'll are still rolling along and doing pretty durn good at the track. Maybe one day me and Nuts can coordinate some way to get the bikes down there and come see a race as well as cruise all them mountains you have down there HEHEHE! When you stop in town let us know so we can hook up and treat you to a hearty meal. Nuts, Where did you end up riding to? It took three hours but the Escape is relatively clean now. You know, you sure didn't mind helping me get it dirty but when it was time to clean you were out the door. Tomorrow may be a waste of your time unless you just want to see the girls practice. After talking to the athletic director the deadline for adding you to the roster has passed. I can still use you for a base coach but we only have the field on Tuesday and Friday of each week. The first few weeks will be spent just getting them familiar with the game so if you want to plan on coming around the beginning of April I can put you to work. Do you have a preference for 1st or 3rd? |

Sorry man. I thought you meant you were fat. WOW 10% BF is pretty impressive for a power lifter. I'm currently at 14% and with Summer coming I am in the process of cutting. Better stay away from Jason. Ever since we started hunting and riding together my eating habits have went out the window. He is a bad influence and will lead you down the path of destruction. Now that he is eating all that cafeteria food I am anticipating he will ballon up in short order (unless he buys that Scooby Doo lunch pail and starts packing). |

Jackie, I see how it's gonna be! Trash the new guy just cause he's skinny. You'll be happy to know it took me 10 minutes to clean the bike and a solid hour to dirty it right back up. I just cannot have that thing clean it makes me sick. Went up Windy gap to Boones mill to 220. Turned around and did it all again. I have learned to slow down on the straights so I can keep my speed up in the corners. When I fly on the straights I end up right behind some cager anyways. Charlie, it is good to hear your voice. You are always welcome to stop in, call, post or just think in our general direction. Are you going to MB3? In Suches, Ga I'm not sure how far that is for you. Glad to hear your family is having so much success in the dirt. Did you ever sell the Cyclone? Wait, if the answer is YES I don't want to know. Drop a post if you want to have a little visit on the 19th. Keith, I am accumulating a list of things o ask you regarding the new bike and equipment. What days are you off, or when is the shop slow enough to grab your ear for a few mins? FAST&LOOSE. NUTS |

Jason, Man I was surrounded by an ocean of little wanna be softball players! 16 showed up today with 20 on the roster. I was pleased though. Some of them have good potential and I even found my candidates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Now I just have to find a shortstop and pitcher and drill it into their little heads how to play the position. Tomorrow I start the 10 and unders so 2 1/2 hours each night for the next 2 months. JOY!!! |

I can tell you it is better than being at WORK an extra two hours. Funny how 4:00 runs into 6:00 and I become a zombie. I am definitely going to be needing some ride-time Sunday. Saturday we'll switch that tire out and see what the GS has to offer. Sunday the hills will be alive with the sound of Harley's that look like crotch rockets. LOL Keith the new bike sounds like a winner, when do you think it will be ready to compete? NUTSNUTSNUTS |

Thanks for stopping by Jason. I apologize for not being able to talk much but those girls take a lot of attention to keep in line. When you get a chance stop by on a Tuesday or Friday when I have both teams. They will slap wear you out just looking at them. All that energy stored up and then unleashed during practice. Tomorrow I get to teach three lucky young gals the joys of learning how to fast pitch. All I can say is EVERYONE better wear a helmet since there is no telling where the balls will end up. I think you would enjoy it once you got over the shock. This is my 5th season and I dread it every year. Once I get started though I get into the zone and enjoy the time out on the field. Have fun with them sick people tomorrow. |

Sorry to butt in, BUT... Give up some details for the "on track" event you plan to attend, if you don't mind.(when, where, how much) I need some time off work, I got a few extra bones, and my beast needs to stretch her legs. I am thinking about doing a Cornerspeed Riderschool at VIR in the near future, and this sounds like a perfect intro to the track before "race school". I'd really not like to go at this alone, so if you might/might not mind some company, please let me know!! thanks tank p.s. nice Savage "plinker" (Message edited by tank_bueller on March 18, 2006) |

Tank, follow the link above to TEAM PRO MOTION. The have FREE test sessions. I will be attending the last week of May, just not sure whether Sat or Sun. All the requirements are listed. I'd like to try this before I dedicate cash to racing leathers. This will be a short day 11am -2pm, basically just an intro to the track experience. I was going to take the Cornerspedd school and still might depending how the first FREE shot goes. There is an instructor at Cornerspeed named Philip, he rides a Buell x-1 on the street, he's a real nice fellow and an excellent rider. I am quite worried that this will open the floodgates to a new spending spree, but am already scheduling myself to work overtime to compensate. Tank, keep in touch and we'll work something out. There are two Buells going as of this moment I know about, could be adding a few more this week. NUTS |

Thanks for the info I am quite worried that this will open the floodgates to a new spending spree... I'm with ya there!! I have already admitted to myself that the "dark side" is just too strong. Besides, I'm going to spend the money somewhere, might as well use it to make myself a better rider. I have been secretly preparing for this for a while. I bought a 2pc leather suit, gloves, boots, etc. over about the last year. About the only thing left that I need is a back protector, and to prep the bike. Not so much that I plan to race, but I want to be safe and not have any tech problems. I check this thread quite often....you guys crack me up. Thanks Tank |

Tank,I think you're the first to admit lurking here. If it ever warms up we'll have to plan a ride to meet somewhere in the middle. Just heard a bike roll by; that's my cue to get ready to roll. Somebody beat me onto the roads. I can't stand it. I have already been calculating how many O.T. shifts it will take to buy leathers, extra rims/tires, trailer and.... Track Buell. I've got the wife willing to pit for me and make the drive home after I've exhausted myself on track. I am NUTS Hey night owl aka Jackie, are you riding today? Call me and we'll arrange a ride even a short one if it's all you can muster. |

Uh oh, Nuts has gone NUTS! Good thing I bought the ole' hands free call since you are going to immerse yourself in the dark world of pocketbike racing. Tank, So you been stalking us huh LOL? Seriously though feel free to join in more often as we could use the company. I'll second what Nuts said, we need to hook up in the middle one day when it gets warmer and have a meet and greet. Nuts, Sorry I didn't make it today but it was too cold for my fragile self. You know I can't take cold weather as well as you can. Course' it could be that I'm just a wuss. Pulled an all nighter again last night watching scary flicks as well as a fine episode of Columbo before the sun came up. |

NUTS did 50 miles averaging 50mph. 44 mpg means the Lightning was being used! My bike likes eating miles rather than q-tips. Jackie, I saw a gaggle of crows on various farms today and will be checking gunbroker now for the next candidate. Check the link above. |
