I'm going up early-bird. I'll do the old school loop. For those who don't know what that is= 985N left on 384 to 75n through Helen and up and over the mnt. to 180 and then south on 129 until 180 to 60 at the BP and then up 60n and back. See you in the hills. Ride safe..... |

Dang it, I can't go tomorrow. But I am going to the Motorcycle show on Sunday with the Bambi-nater. Good news, I got my Pilot roads put on! Ken's Motorcycle Tires in Woodstock. Great guy and he has the special "anti-Earl-Smalls" gorilla tools I needed. $350 mounted and that included the labor to get the stuck pinch bolt unstuck and the stuck front axle too. Glitch, those boots are cool...I got Bambi a pair of the Tech 6's off E-Bay for $25. You guys really need to shop E-Bay for your gear. I've gotten some killer deals, especially on boots. |

I buy and sell on Ebay and it is great, the Alpine Stars I wear were only 100.00 brand new. Motorcycle shop 250.00 big savings. My Joe Rocket two piece leather suit brand new 250.00, you could not even buy the jacket for that anywhere else. I got my Pilot Roads from Tire Express 225.00 to my door. Are they about the same price at Kens? |

Hey B_S or N12R or who ever had the shirts made (sorry Bobby) I know its not your fault. Hate to complain about the shirt but I'd like to ask question. Shelleys shirt says her name and 3%ers on back. Does everyone shirt say 3%ers on the back? My doesn't say 3%ers.. Am I not in the club anymore? I am one of the "FOUR ORIGINALS" that helped start this club. What the F--- is up with that sh-t? I feel pink..very pink Can I drop this shirt off and have it fixed? (Message edited by shred on March 17, 2006) |

Jonboy, sorry I forgot to reply. Your always welcome to go riding with me. I'm going with a buddy that "invited me" and he's really fast. Hate to leave you behind or have you trying to ride hard just to keep up. PLEASE..PLEASE... and please don't be offended. thanks Jonboy... A lot of people have went down trying to keep up that have many mountain miles logged in. I'm going to have to tell him to slow it down because I'm not going to ride like I use too. Its just not worth it any more to me. I have nothing to prove to these guys up in the mnts. I've been there and done that. Thanks for not getting rubbed the wrong.I like to ride with my Buell riding buddies.

Thanks Jonboy,Your no red headed step-child. All you need is more seat time and we all have to start somewhere. We all did, trust me.. If you want to we can ride local next week. I have some local twisties we can practice on. We can work on corner speed and exit speed and learning to judge corners. What day is good for you? |

Ken's prices are ok, $300 on the bike for my Pilot Roads. $260 off the bike. Certainly worth it for me on this side of town. Lawrenceville is too far away. How are Two Brothers for working on Buells? Anybody can swap a tire, I don't feel anybody can get 'em off the bike. I thought about shopping some more, but my time is worth more'n $50. I've paid internet prices for my last two sets of Pilot Powers, then took it up the chute mounting them. One stop shopping and it works out to be comparable. Ken's a good guy too. |
