Do you think I'll screw up my bike if I run it for a while with out a race ecm or should I put the stock back on? Can't afford to pay $200-$250 for one, i'll have to wait till I find one for cheap. |

I'd say if you are easy on it, and don't whack the throttle wide open all the time, you should be ok. Wide open throttle is when you will probably see your worst lean condition. |

Raptor, Thanks for the posting the photo that includes the 1998 S1W Enforcer. I posted on Badweb's "quickboard" a couple of months ago asking if anyone had pictures of these bikes and no one came through with the exception of a couple of S2 photos. We are pretty close to having the restoration done on our S1W Enforcer. Still have to get the pipe back to its original gold color and a few other small details. Anyone headed to Daytona? Ron, a.k.a. Motoboss, will be competing on his new Buell dragbike and I on the V-Rod Destroyer at the AHDRA season opener in Gainesville March 4-5. Then we will be hanging around the Daytona International Speedway March 9th,10th, and attending the 200 on the 11th. If you are going to be around Daytona and hook-up with us and we'll buy you lunch. Just be sure to tell Ron that - "Jeff said you (Ron) are buying." |

Hello, Fellow Buell Riders. I was able to make it into the Indy Dealer Expo to see what all the hubbub was about. It was incredible. Even got to talk at length with a rep from Verlicchi, the engineering company behind the XB frame. Here’s a page we put together using the photos we took, enjoy: http://www.wilkinsonbrothers.com/news/N_dealerexpo.html Take care. -Corey |

Ok everyone, here is the scoop. We WILL have the meeting as scheduled on March 11th. Part of the agenda will be to have lunch and watch the XBRR whip butt at the Daytona 200. Right now, the rest of the agenda will cover final decisions on a charity to sponsor, and club logo. Also expect some discussion on our summer event schedule and the "Wicked Twisty Tour". Come one, come all!! |

I also want to talk about the safety as far as the rides go, so if anyone has any ideas to add write them down and will talk about that at the meeting. |

Hey don't mean to hijack, but I'm moving to Shelbyville and wondering if you guys want another member? Should be in Indiana in May. A little about myself, I'm Dave, one of the founders and current Director of C3 (Carolina Corner Carvers). I ride an '03 XB9SL with the usual mods, Drummer, ECM, etc. Been riding about 20 years, and still looking for the perfect road. |

I got connections with the C-3. I've been to a couple of national events with Brankin. We'd be glad to have ya join us. We are sponsored by the Bloomington HDB shop. They support us 100%. This will be the first year that this club has been "active" in a few years. We have a lot of stuff in the planning stages for this season including a track day at Putnam Park and we applied through BRAG to have one of the Wicked Twisty Tours to be here. Let us know when you get to town! C ya, Chad |

Thanks guys! The wife's job with the Farm Service Agency has us moving to the area, we actually asked for it. We both grew up in the Greater Cincinnati area and have wanted to get back for a while now to be close to family. Pauletta has been applying to agencies within 100 miles or so of Cincy for several years now and Shelby Co. wanted her. These positions are hard to come by as most offices will hire a temp to fill a vacancy then hire the temp full time when Kansas City O.K's a new full time position. We're looking forward to being close to Indy also. Both the wife and I are motorheads so being close to a motorsports town fits us well. As soon as I get up there and situated, I'll come calling. BTW: I'm looking for employment. I have 15 yrs as a welder, I hold a Class A CDL, and also have experience in the automotive/powersports field. Any leads on "gainful" employment would sure help. Ayden, We'll be glad to have you with us! Like Chad said this will be the first full year of the new and improved Hoosier Thunder Club. I'm currently the Assistant Director, and MotoBoss (Ron Hess) is the Director. I'm proud to say that Buell of Bloomington supports us, and they do it 100%! I know we will all be looking forward to having another experienced Bueller with us, maybe you can give us ideas for events, etc. You will LOVE the roads in the Bloomington area. We have some of the best riding in the country I think. As far as employment, The Class A CDL will get you good work around here. Maybe Cyclonemaniac will have some info about where to find a good job welding. If we can be of any help, let us know! |
