Jackie, feel like going to the Richmond g/s this weekend? It might be a little crazy but a good place to touch everything(Cooper's excepted). I'll be riding around Boones Mill road today. |

Jason, The fight doesn't even start until 10:00p.m.. Perhaps since you guys go to bed so early we can do the dinner and then a DVD (I have a good one in mind LOL!!). Hoe does 6:00p.m. sound to ya? |

So are we on for 6:00? Just give me the time I know the place. My wife insists on bringing something so I'd greatly appreciate any advice; or else you could end up aggravating your condition! She already mentioned bringing hot pepper soaked potpouri. We'll discuss the Richmond adventure tonight. See you then. NUTS |

6:00 it is. I don't know what to tell her to bring. We are having Deer steak, Tenderloin, Squirrel casserole, baked potato, broccoli, rolls and a dessert. I am going to cook her a piece o' chicken just in case she doesn't take to the game meats. Here in Va. you aren't required to bring something when you are the guest. Must be one of them Florida things. Actually she might want to bring some black pepper if she likes it since we don't have any. We have the shaker but it hasn't had any in it since my problems started escalating. |

Jump all over this one Jason! http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128462 I believe HB stands for heavy barrel. It should shoot screamin groups and help us drop plenty o' Crows at 150 yards or so. Also good for when we set on the far side of the 400m range and wait for the critters to pop their heads up over the little rise where we were busted. Stop draggin' your feet or you'll be whining when I break out the .17HMR Cooper and your stuck with the 75 yard shots at those big black birds. I believe Roanoke Firearms will handle all the details. If not Dominion will do it and we can work a trip in with RD. By the way I think he is coming down on Friday to school us on how to call in the woods. |

Are you trying to ruin my day? You know I'm out the door to Richmond. I think I'll be perusing the selection there, hoping to find something with a nice action and agreeable price. If I were to buy an Annie at that price I'd rather spring for the whole new thing. My wife wanted me tho thank you and Cindy again for having us over. I did not intend to leave so early but Adrienne has some sort of eye infection I did not want transferred to anyone else. She thinks her contacs are infected so out they go until she can heal up. Off to Richmond, for nothing less than asking a lot of questions. I'm half hoping for honest answers and the other half for crazy sales pitches. NUTS |

Yeah, yeah, ya'll just didn't want to hang out with the rednecks. Plus you were just mad that you don't have a cool, tricked out FXR like the movie. No shame in owning that little pocket bike of yours. Remember I have one too. Seriously, the pleasure was all ours and may I say your wife is quite charming and seems like a genuinely nice person. So what did you see/buy? The Cooper made it to the factory Friday so I figure I should have it back in two or three weeks. Are we on for tomorrow night or will you be too tired from your exhausting day of orientation? We need to bring a map since the bridge will be closed. I haven't gone in the back way in many, many years so can't quite remember all the back roads. |

I was told orientation is an all-day thing. If I get out by 2:00 I'll ring you and we should be ok. I have yet to get a start date or schedule, hopefully tomorrow. All I saw today of interest was a Ruger 77/22h laminate/stainless with tasco varmint scope (big) for $519. CZ 452 Varmint HB .17 m2 for $379 both at trader Jerry's booth. I priced the 3 boxes of 22 hornet I found=$15 for 25. Unless a crazy smokin deal comes around I'll be avoiding that. I had a nice drive today but the show was a waste. I stood at the Trader Jerry's booth holding the CZ for about 10 minutes before I gave up on getting some help. The salesmen seemed to be more interested in the ethnic fellows handling all the "phat" handguns. I would much rather pay a slight premium to have something all my own, unmolested by the gun show maniacs. Unless it is a smokin deal of course. I'll ring you tomorrow @3:00 when you're out pickin up the little ones.NUTS |

Good luck with your orientation. If they ask when you want to start just tell them your buddy said anytime after June 1st . I emailed R.D. since he will be at the shop this week and asked him to see what the absolute bottom dollar would be for the Anschutz. Who knows maybe Todd needs to get some money coming in since this is a slow time of year for long guns. If you happen to work something out with the other guy let me know and I'll try to get my mom to pick the girls up from school and ride with you. Also keep in mind that the Roanoke Gun Show is weekend after next. Who knows, you may find the deal of the century there. |

You bet, At least I won't have to ride 3 hours to see junk! I'm going to let things fall where they may. I think a higher priority now is riding season, I'd like to get a track school in this year and for that I'm going to need some new leather gear. I might see if I can borrow some from Keith at RVHD, he's in Daytona now after racing this weekend. He took at least 2 third places on a stock motored XB9(pocket bike). Well I'm off out the door to W O R K. NUTS |

He's a working man now! Time to start saving for that boar trip you were going to treat me to when you got paid. Here is the link. To save you money I will settle for 2 days of hunting. Don't worry I'll pay for my own taxidermy work. http://www.bostick-plantation.com/ |

$499.00 Is the lowest Todd will go on the Anschutz. Seems like you are shifting gears (pun intended) for riding season though. Nothing wrong with that just don't be upset when I am plunking Crow and Groundhogs at 150 yards and you have to wait for that elusive 75 yard max shot. The wife is off on Friday and I can't remember your work schedule. If you are off lets get in a ride before our last night o' calling for the year. |

I'm headed out the door to work, but I'll be packing the woods goods so I can head out your way. I have to work at 6:15 Wed. morning so we might have to cut it short tonight. This work sure is getting in the way huh? Do you know if the Annie at Dominion is the HB version? See you this afternoon. NUTS |

The scope came today. Looks sharp but it is HUGE and HEAVY! Good thing I am getting the sling studs put in because this package is going to weigh close to 10 pounds. That is great for accuracy but makes carrying a pain in the rectum. Now if I can just find a way to get my mind off of the Cooper until it gets here. Sorry I didn't follow your advice about going to the bottom end. I also want to apologize for being so noisy. |

Tonight I'm out!!! Had to leave work yesterday after only 1 hour. Came home deathly ill. I'm now drawing chunks of mucousy beef jerky from my throat. Tomorrow I'm in for. It'll be a cage match, us vs. them for an chance to unify the title. Tomorrow I'll be off at four and then heading on over to your house. Can you imagine... too sick to check Badweb! Crazy, man. I missed you on the loop buddy. I was flying up Bent Mtn. passed 6 cars and crested the hill at 100. Cruised on down to the "mart" and waited for you for about 5 mins. That was @5:30, went on down to the BRP and took another little break about halfway down. Waited about 10 mins for you and saddled back up for the ride home. It was so good to get out today, thanks for the inspiration. NUTS |

Must have missed one another by a narrow margin. From the Parkway I jumped on 220 and headed up to Peters Creek and then just meandered back in. I went to the club tonight and stayed until about 12:30 until the wind started picking up. Called in a few deer and a Gray Fox right at the little monument. I couldn't hold the light and gun steady at the same time so didn't even try the shot. Looks like a scope mounted light is now in my future. I think the Fox was what ran in on us the other night since it came running in tonight before putting on the brakes about 20 yards out. I am just hoping the wind dies down and gives us the perfect last day! |

I was hoping to see you but sometimes the anticipation is just as good. I wanted to get off the Parkway as it was prime critter time. I have plans for Saturday early afternoon to watch the Daytona 200. I want to hear the Buell XBRR run, I'll check on the exact schedule but maybe a ride after? So tomight I'm set for a late one, already warned the missus, game on!NUTS

<<Charlie, If you ever check out our mindless drivel feel free to say howdie. Hope all is well.>> Which Charlie? I'm in FL for the 200, and I'm doing the 'Q for the BadWeb party at VegasBueller's. It's the same as what we sell in Buena Vista, so there's no need to rush down here just for that... |

You know I have been laying here perplexed at the fact that nothing came in to your well executed cough/hack/laugh call. Add in the authentic rustling sounds you were making by squirming around every 2 minutes and it should have worked like a charm. I'm almost positive that the one we did hear coming in was responding to your excellent sniffing snot up your nose technique and not the sorry sounds of actual Raccoons which eminated from my caller. You truly are a master woodsman. I am most blessed to have mentors like you and R.D. to teach me the mysterious ways of wildlife. I am aquiver with anticipation just thinking about you showing me how to hunt Crows or, dare I dream, a longbearded turkey. Should I expect another unique approach to calling them in? I think I will try to combine the two styles and formulate my own technique. I will start by piling up a big bunch of leaves and then standing on top of them. I will then stomp up and down on them whilst waving a 5million candlepower light around the whole time while humming the Star Spangled Banner. Add in some strategic farting and belching and the animals should literally come running. Thats alright though. Tomorrow I shall school you on how to properly ride a pocket bike. You know I used to think people looked at us riding because we were cool but now realize its' because we look like circus clowns riding those tiny little motorbikes around the bigtop. Just think about it. Brightly colored, gaudy jackets/helmets and your size 25 boots. All we need is some fuzzy wigs to tape to our helmets and we have a new career. Welcome to the circus its the greatest show in town. |

Well done. I was shaken awake this morning by the remnants of a dream involving pocket bikes, llamas, bouts of rage, and losing Jackie amidst a haze of spanish language speakers. The worst part was my pocket bike that had the front painted a fade pink! My wife conveniently blames our hunting trips on my immune systems lack of response. That means the blood I'm expelling is YOUR fault! Just think tomorrow your LVT will be sitting in a UPS truck awaiting some lackey's appointment to drop it yet again. Not like I'd know anything about that though. I'd like to come by and see the tryouts so post here when and where. NUTS |
