Drift: do you mean the plastics lights bars and all. If so the story is that it is easier to swap tail sections. |

Drift Things to consider... Everything except the battery, that's under the seat on an S is in the nose of an R. So there's a lot involved. Going from S front to R front, not so bad. Going from R front to S, you'd have to re-route all the electrics to under the seat somewhere. Lots more to re-route. Smokescreen That file is over a gig! I'll put it on DVD for you, I'll get it to you after work. PM me your phone number. |

Smokescreen You are talking about the first video, right? The one you and New12r did? The one I took the other day is, well, not so good, much of it I was facing the sun. So what did turn out good wasn't really enough to play with. |

Ha! You are right about that. The wiring harness is the part that has me concerned. If I do the triples and bars then I feel confident that it would be simple apart from rerouting the wiring. I wonder if the S front would hold the R fuse boxes.?. |

If I do the triples and bars then I feel confident that it would be simple apart from rerouting the wiring. Don't forget about having to swap the flyscreen module, and the fairing stays. I wonder if the S front would hold the R fuse boxes.?. I don't think there's room behind the flyscreen, it's pretty tight back there. |

Oh yeah, the clutch cables have to be swapped also, they're different lengths. |

Ah. Clutch cable... Hmm. Maybe, I'll rethink this. |

Bullet... What type of paint did you use to do B_S rear sub frame. B_S said that it was something that wears better than normal auto paint. I am considering following suit with a minor difference.... |

someone say Flathead? Sweet. There were a couple of cool choppers with that red on black paint scheme at the show this weekend. My favorite chopper of the whole show was flat black with gloss red rims and gloss red flames white pinstriping around them. |

Speaking of the show, I was surprised to find that the Italian bike shop's display was one of the coolest. I can't remember the shop's name offhand, but they had the new Ducati Sport 1000 and an MV Augusta Brutale. I really dig the looks of the Duc, and the Brutale is shockingly comfortable.

The yellow 1000 sport Duc is a thing of beauty but I hear the riding position will kill you around town. Still, pleasure is worth the pain. Gonna lose the fly screen on the M2 since both bikes have a similar look with out one. |

Sounds good Drift. Stayed in Helen last year and the ride back to the hotel was so cold I had carb icing coming thru the hills. By the time I got back it was running on one cylinder (or so it seamed). Let me know what you want to do and if you know of a place. Otherwise I'll be looking for a spot tonight. I'll bring the Jamesons |

any pics? No, unfortunately I forgot my camera. !!!Happy Valentines Day!!! Lol, that brings back memories ... er, maybe lack of memories. The yellow 1000 sport Duc is a thing of beauty but I hear the riding position will kill you around town. It's definitely not a cruiser. The riding position is "aggressive" as the saleswoman put it. This Thursday: 7:00 @ SMHD/Buell I'd love to be there, but I'm leaving for Dublin, Ireland tonight. |
