Homecoming was a blast! Wished all y'all could have made it. Richard, I hope you and your wife made it back safe. I had no issues other than stupid cagers trying to run over me. |

Had a fantastic time at Homecoming. I won a door prize ( framed 8x11 version of a 2004 advertising poster) ! Met a slew of neat folks including Treefrog. Saw an incredible number of Buells, so many with their owners' little (and lot) tweaks. We racked up 1,613 miles, went through 7 states and 1 Canadian province. Not bad considering we had less than 200 miles of two-up experience. With loaded bags and my wife on board I can almost flat foot the XT which made it really manageable. We stayed safe and played well with others in traffic, although I cursed and yelled at many an idiot cage driver. They couldn't hear me but it helped. Bike ran great, the tire plug I put in held up without a hitch. I keep asking my wife where next, but she's not as eager. She's willing but - not yet. All in all a fantastic trip. I'm a motorcycle addict!! |

3 Buells at Sylvan Beach tonight besides mine. Gold/Brown S-3, a Blue X-1, a Yellow Ulysses, and my own S-1. Not that common for me to see so many Buells at once around these parts. Liked it very much. |

Quite excited to see, and hear a Ducati going by the house this AM, with A Street Tracker bodied Sporty in the pack. Supertrapp exhaust and all. The first one I've seen outside of the Media. The Sportster sounded good, but nothing like the sound of those Ducatis haulin' it by the house. Music to my ears. |

Saw an XB R today on 81 between Adams and Watertown heading north. Couldn't tell if it was a 9 or 12. It was a Soldier. Anyone on the board? |

Starting to get a little chilly out in the mornings. Just need the snow to hold off for a little longer. I don't want to put it up yet. |

Don't know about the rest of y'all, but I've done got an itch and the only thing that will cure it is riding. I am officially tired of winter. |

I hear that TF, been looking fondly at the Uly alot lately. I snowbiked my Ktoom this winter just to get the feel of a bike between my legs. Not exactly the same thing, but sure beats the crap out of lame snowmobiling.... |

Woo Hoo! I rode today. First ride of the year. Gonna have to get me some anti-fog for my shield though. |

I'm riding to work next week hopefully for the rest of the summer and fall. Roads are green on Ft Drum and the bikes ready go. So if you see a black ULY and a guy freezing his but off to save a buck on gas throw a encouraging wave. |

I just put my new pipe on last night and went out for about 20 miles today. No sneaking around on it now. I saw one other rider out today. Dave, if you are ever over at Clark Hall give me a holler. |
