180 huh, I dont believe that at all. Neither do I, but the point is he was gain WAY fast. To have debris for over 100 yards after impact is enough to tell me he was in hyper drive. |

Sanchez, MR I'm 991 miles from my bike at home in Virginia. Stuck in sunny South Florida with all the weather and none of the curves. So I download the link on dial up for over an hour and then... gone. Video no show. I wanted to say thanks for the few seconds of curves I got to see and the wonderful soundtrack that kept the dog barking. The 3% ers are taking the brand where it was intended. Thanks a whole ton and I'll be seeing you at "BADNESS" NUTS |

I would like to say if anyone needs to have their bike worked on 'Jay' at SMHD has been to the Buell tech class and even before he attended the class he was willing and happy to work on my XB. He did the TPS reset the morning of the Dyno-drags. Some of you may know that my clutch fried on me. I was having SMHD take a look and I had more damage than I thought. The primary case was broken at the metal lip where the clutch inspection cover meets with the clutch adjustment. Jay did a great job. The best part was that he seemed to enjoy working on my bike and that he cared and wanted my bike to run at 100%. That says a lot, so Thanks Jay. Tom E. AKA-SWEED and Jay will be the only people that will work on my bike besides myself. I went from to and Thanks Clown and SMHD for making things right with my Buell. |

This may seem a little early but is anyone giving any thought to riding to Daytona for bike week in March? |

Shred - I must agree, the customer service @ SMHD is far better than any buell dealership I have visited. Deadman helped me out the other day and I was really impressed. Its good to know they have employees who know what they are talking about and happy to help. and now I hear their service dept. is just as good... Thanks SMHD! Deadman-I got a call that my parts are in, I'll pick'em up on thurs. MR - sorry about not being able to help you out tonight, I got the PC healed though. I'll help you out again with it in the near future. Thanks for coming by. Sunday is looking chilly but I would love to ride. Im out for MLK Day though. It is really up to you about a vehicle being totaled. I fixed an Impala last week that the insurance company had totaled and even came and picked it up. Took it to Verastar to be auctioned off. The customer just stayed on them about it and they hauled it back and we fixed it. You can also get someone to sign a contract agreeing to fix the vehicle for a set price. Doing so lets the insurance company out of any more charges. We did a Porsche 944 and agreed to fix it for 5000.00 which the car being an 85 just booked at 4500.00. There are ways around it. They put some salt down today, why I do not know. It just barely did cover the ground and I never did see any on the paved roads. I am planning on riding tomorrow but I think that I will ride down to Ellijay and do Burnt Mountain and some local roads. There is not to much salt on 60 but I hate to get that crap on my bike. |

MR I was wondering about that, I don't know if I am going to ride yet or not... I will post tomorrow when I get up and let you know... the roads here have quite a bit of salt... It will probably be noon or so before I get up... I can't get up at 5am... |

Go to bed now get up at 9 and be riding by 10 or so. You can come down old 76 until you get to Skeenah Gap road. We can meet at the end of it on 60. This will let you dodge all the salt. |

L_D, Sorry about the truck. Anyone riding today? I'm either going local, or maybe do the short loop, stop by T.W.O at noon and then to Turners for lunch. (Message edited by shred on January 15, 2006) |
