They're asking MSRP - $9,999.00 Probably work with you though. If you are interested I can hook you up with the best sales guy we have. Have you ridden the new style yet?? If not I might let you ride my XB. Ross Smith Republic H-D/Buell (281)295-1000 ext. 109 Ride Hard! |

I like the new look and engine, But.....The M2 in the Garage is running like a dream. True story, I walked in Stubbs last weekend with a buddy, asked about trade in value for my 2002 M2 with lots of extras. Ready.....$2500 - $3000 ! Pretty sad for a bike with a msrp of $9000 8 months ago. |

No kidding...that sucks. My buddy tried trading in his X1 and they almost laughed at him. With the tube frames being discontinued it has really hurt re-sale value. Not that it was all that spectacular in the first place. I would have kept my M2 if she was still alive. Ross Republic H-D/Buell |

2 weeks after I bought the X1, the XB9R came out. I asked what it would take to trade up. They offered $8000. A $3000 loss plus TT&L all over again. Wasn't worth taking that big of a hit since I would therefore be paying $13,000 for the XB. I see the 2001 X1 going for 5-6k on e-bay. Mancuso has 3 XB9Rs on the floor and several X1s, S3Ts and M2s in their warehouse that nobody can see. Oh, Blasts too. How can they sell it if it isn't on the floor? What's bad is that the X1s are going for $11k and the S3Ts for $12k. You'd think they'd do all they could to get rid of them. If they can't sell them now, how are they going to offload them a year from now? Plus if you can get a better XB for 10k, why would anyone consider paying 12k for old news? Even then, Mancuso has only sold 1 XB9R. |

Well this thread has been dead for the last couple weeks. Everybody enjoying the weather (extremely sarcastic) When It clears up I would like to make a bellville run. I am trying to get this damn BRAG group off the ground! Is there anyone that would be interested in helping me in this effort. There is a good amount of Buell riders in this area. I can't do it alone. We have sold four XB's so far not including mine. Only because I was there to give info and tell the benefits. Seems there are aolt of people trying to get away from the whole crotch rocket category. Have had alot of people interested in "something different". Anyways....I love mine! Let me know if anyone can help! Ross Republic H-D/Buell 281-295-1000 ext 109 Ride Hard!!!! |

I just need people to participate and I need officers to put on the charter. It's not a huge reponsiblility but it is one that take commitment.I need registered BRAG members |

My safety officer position was pretty darn easy compared to primary officer positions. It's a very big commitment and you must be dedicated 100% and sometimes that means putting the rest of your life on hold. The members depend on you. My dad is still director at Mancuso and will be quitting when his 2nd year is up in a couple months. I've seen a lot of BS and back stabbing in the HD clubs (amongst the primary officers too). Given who Buell riders are, I can only hope a Buell club would run much smoother. Ross, how many members do you think you'll have? |

So far I have a list of about twenty five people that say that they are interested. Now how that number may dwindle when it comes down to it i have no clue. But with the great people I've met around this area (X1glider, Hootowl, RT...) You know who you are. I think this could really be a great club. Plus I have some interesting stuff happening here at the dealer that might interest EVERYONE that rides a Buell.(Can't tell yet, haven't been given the clearance as it is still TOP SECRET ). Ya'll give me some feed back on what you think and what YOU want this club to be! Thanks for the offer Hoot give me a call at home when you get the chance. Ross, I would be interested in being part of a BRAG group. Right now I am spending all of my extra time coaching t-ball and basketball, so I could not commit to anything more that once or twiced a month. |

It took me two and a half hours to get to work this morning. Thought my clutch hand was going to fall off. It seems the hold up was caused by about 20 assholes in cages parked on the side of the freeway, standing on the hoods of their cars and the beds of their trucks, gawking at the flooded parking lots on the side of the road. Can't blame them I guess. I mean, it hardly EVER floods here in the High Desert of Houston. It was a once in a life time opportunity to see a car half under water. I wanted to kick every one of them in the balls. |

Ok guys I'm going to have a meeting for anyone interested in participating in the BRAG chapter. How does this SUN morning sound for everyone? I will probably have to work by noon but I will find out. Sun night would be fine with me too. Where is everyone at? Need ya'll to sound off on this one so I can pick a good spot for everyone to meet and not have to go too far! Maybe we can get together over a few I really want this to be a big success. I enjoy riding with fellow buellers and I know ya'll do too. Please inform other Buellers that are not active on Bad web!Let's do this! |
