New12r, A couple of guys that I ride with in Huntsville are going to the Jennings New Years track day. Chris Halbrooks, dunno what bike he will be on, but it looks like he is trying to get his gsxr600 going. He is just getting back on the track since his nasty wreck in a wera race at road atlanta last season. He is one helluva rider, that's fur shur. And possibly another guy named Ronnie will be with him. He had a SERIOUS wreck at little Tally last year (in june)... almost lost him. Got his head ran over by the guy he had just passed. He was just released by the doc today to get back to the track. These are some great guys, and love to have fun on the track. Have fun! I am going to try to get to a track day at either little tally or Barber this year. (just need some leathers) |

Hi all, Sorry to barge in like this. Damn biker calendars don't have future year info in them. Since my math skills have declined after being out in the real world, and I don't see anything in the Stone Mountain H-D/Buell events section, can someone please 'do the math' for me and tell me what the dates for March Badness are? Having this information will help some of the C-3 (Carolina Corner Carvers) BRAG group see if their dance cards are full or not. Thanks in advance, 1313 |

Clown Says, "The Demo event is scheduled for March 31 - April 2. We will still call it March Badness. MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW!!!!" And if Clown don't know, don't nobody know. |

Is it just me, or does my helmet fit really poorly? It seems like the bottom of my nose should be covered by the chin guard to help with fogging. I've also noticed that the top of the face plate opening hangs pretty low on my forehead. It makes it tough to see traffic lights if I'm the first person in line. |

More important than how it looks is how it fits. Is it snug? When you turn your head right to left fast, does it feel loose? Or does it stay put and all you get is dizzy? |

When you turn your head right to left fast, does it feel loose? Or does it stay put and all you get is dizzy? That happens to me anyway. |

Ratyson, Glad to here all your friends are doing better and still able to ride. I was down last last sept as well, still riding with a gimp leg and a blood clot. I just got off the phone with Ed Bargy, looks like I'm going to Jennings this sat' for another class with ED and his awesome instructors (mostly Wera racers) Jeff#31 is Wera Expert and Todd is Wera Expert and aslo an Admin' for GSB. I got my butt kicked two weeks ago at Tally by Sarah and is also Wera expert and was getting re-certified. I was the only Buell on the track and was getting some grief from the Jap' bike riders but after I kick some butt they backed off a bit. By the end of the day I had several people asking about the my bike. It was a nice way to end a great track day. My wife is wonderful. I'm a lucky man (Message edited by shred on December 14, 2005) (Message edited by shred on December 14, 2005) |

The helmet looks fine but what in the h*ll is inside of it? Fortunately that mask keeps my face in as much as it keeps the cold out! |

When you turn your head right to left fast, does it feel loose? It does feel a little loose when I shake my head. There's not much pressure on my cheeks. |
