Hey Bob, you know things have changed when getting ready for winter riding means zipping the vents in your jacket closed. Life is rough. Just in case you wanted an excuse to ride down here... I saw an ad in sacbee.com (the local paper) for a brand new 2002 RS for $6499. Or if you just plain ol' can't wait till next July to go for a ride toss those bikes in the pickup and get down here. I just answered about 40 questions for a lady who is conducting a survey for Triumph. I usually hang up on that crap, but it was motorcycle related. I told her that I guessed Triumph made an ok bike and that I would consider buying one if I were in the market for something with three cylinders. | ||

 Hey Northwesterners - Don't let Ferris et al twist your tails. As you can see from the photo (taken yesterday in Yosemite National Park), winter-like weather has hit central California early and hard. Next thing you know that tourista that snuck into my photo will be wearing a blouse with sleeves! Even when the weather's good, riding in California can be problematic. Ever tried to focus your attention on a rapidly approaching apex, just to have a 18 yr old snugglebunny in tight shorts and a halter top pop into view at a scenic overlook? That's the kind of thing that separates the men from the boys in these parts. Dino | ||
