Ratyson.....I have a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and a Graduate Deg in Prosthetics from Northwestern Med School. When I was in Undergrad I got a job as a Prosthetic Tech and went to med school for my grad deg. Been doing this for 11 years now and I would have to say it is fun to come to work each day. I love it! All the CF work I learned in this field and have applied it to making my own Motorcycle parts. Whod a thunk it? Never a dull moment around here. All the fun toys helps pass the time. |

Sunday doesn't look good for riding. Never can tell with G.a weather. If anyone wants to go local tomorrow I'll be on the back roads. |

BS that is great. That has to be fun and rewarding to work in a field that helps people be more like normal. We thought for sure our grandson was going to need prosthetic leg but it looks like he will recover with just a limp. |

All I have to say is everyone needs the heated gear! I just got back from my test ride and I must say that I am snug as a bug in a rug! Anyone riding Sat? |

Hey guys...I got a line on tires the other day! Really good deals and excellent mounting...It's Ken's Motorcycle Tires in Woodstock. The guy can get any tire you want, for about $5 more than the best internet or cycle gear prices and if you buy them from him, it's $10 to mount and balance. (Off the bike of course) Which as you all know is significantly less than anyone else you know. I bought some Avons for the Blast off the internet and took them in to him and he charged me $25 each. Had I bought the tires from him, I would have saved $40. Live and learn. He's a good guy too. http://www.kensmotorcycletires.net/ |

Kdan, Thats some good pricing. I live in L'ville so Woodstock is a bit to far for me. Jeff at Cycle Gear has always had good pricing and alot of great service. I got some Pilot Race tires mounted and bal. for under 300 bucks. SWEET... I'm just waiting for the track day. (Message edited by shred on November 19, 2005) |

Anyone riding Sat? I'm taking the cage down to Silver Dollar Raceway with my SVT club. If any of you are interested in seeing how quickly you can cover the 1/4 mile, you're welcome to join in the fun. (Message edited by sanchez on November 19, 2005) |

I'll have to work on that one. Ratyson.....Sure, you can work for me as long as you work for free. We are a Private company that like to run lean and mean. All thrills no frills...kinda like my XB9S. Nothin' on the bike that doesn't serve a purpose. |

B_S, That working for free stuff is overrated. But I may start looking into medical studies. I am about to get started on my M.S. in Software engineering, maybe I will start looking into the medical field as well. It seems that the work you do would be very fulfilling. |

Kdan: You'd drive all the way to Woodstock to save $5 a tire? Dude, I live in Canton. What amazes me is that I'd ride all the way to Stone Mountain to argue with the service center about how a sprocket is not a "wear" item. But you guys still rock. And all my little 3% friends are out there... |

N12R did you make it up to the mountains? We had a great time. My sidestand came loose and I lost one of the parts. That was a pisser. Had to lean her up against anything I could until I got home. I hope SMHD has the parts. |
