Beware of hawks having a roadside snack! I thought for sure he was coming thru my visor. Ducked, stopped to check shorts, all ok. Went on my way. |

Joe... How long did it take you to get back? I made home in just under 2 1/2 hours. Not too bad for a 160 mile run. Mapquest tells me it should take 3 hours 23 minutes |

The "other" project is 1/4 cut, and I ran out of machine time. We're currently SWAMPED with work. And for some odd reason, powers that be seem to think PAYING jobs are more important Damn them and their priorities!! On another subject, where were the Appleton brag members in Dundee last Sunday? Dora(Builiegirl) and I rode up there, and we ended up being the only ones... |

From the email I received, it sounds like they missed you somehow. The group I was with took a wrong turn Actually, we had planned an all day getaway to the northwoods. Plenty of twisties, sweepers and all-around great roads |

Hello All- I'm thinking of riding to Appleton from Chicago on Saturday, then riding with the FBRAT to Field of Dreams on Sunday, then returning to Chicago on Monday. Is there room for me to do this?? I'm not all that familiar with FBRAT and don't know if I've missed some kind of registration. Also to Slaughter: Do I know you from Windy City BRAG? If your group riding to Appleton can have another rider on Saturday, I'm looking to tag along. Let me know. Thanks, John |

Yeah - even though from CA - I'll hang out with any sorta Buellers! Oh and Dave, I got my hair cut - it's a different look! Fellow racer/buddy of mine at work has lymphoma - he's into 3rd treatment of chemo and a bunch of us here at work all shaved our heads since he was losing his hair. |

Sorry I didn't read the webiste since Wednesday. Here is a short recap of my trip to Tomahawk. After putting in a 12 hour day at my shop in Appleton on Thursday I decided to leave my bike there rather then ride home in the cold. I took the company van hoe and drove back to Appleton Saturday morning at 6:00 am. We were scheduled to leave at around 8:00 am. We is me My Dad and Tom Bongers of http://www.tommyscustomcycle.com My Dad and I met Tom at his shop and took off for a day of riding. Tom was on a BMW, Dad on his sporty and my on the M2. We soon came up on Highway 187. It is not far from Appleton and a pretty fun road to ride. It's just north of Shiocton. Next we stopped for breakfest somewhere near Wausau and the bikes were starting to get thick. we decided to superslab it up to Tomahawk to make better time. Once we got there it was Chopper heaven. Traffic was stop and go, but more stopping then going. We stopped at Sara Park and looked around for about 30 minutes. Enough time to stretch the legs and grab some water. We then mounted up and headed for the speedway. If you have never been there, it is interesting. Lots of choppers with about 30% being mad from something other then HD. It's a rough crowd to put it mildly. Lots of "colors" worn there. Once again we stopped, looked at some bikes, and grabbed a drink. That was about it. We stayed in town a whopping 1.5 hours and decided that the weather was just to nice not to ride. We tanked up and headed out of town back to Appleton. I don't remember all the roads we traveled but If you are ever up in that area yuou must travel County Rd B. It was deffinately one of the best roads I have ridden in WI (including anything around Kettle Moraine). So that's about it. |

County B was Awesome because you are withing 20 or 30 feet of the water at times. There are many blind corners though so use a little caution, but not to much, the road is to fun to drive slow! |
