Dude, let me call the WAAAAmbulance!! You cry like a girl. I was out of town last weekend and I'm leaving Sunday for a conference in Orlando. I won't be back until late Thursday. My puter is a piece of crapola. I got my photos edited a little, but right before I uploaded it locked up. I'm on the wife's laptop now. I should be ready to ride next weekend since I'm off like three days. |

Thought I'd do some experimenting with the sunsets out here... This was taken off Tramway Sunday night.

Nice. I'm flying home tomorrow and will be off on Friday thru Sunday. Wanna ride? My son has a football game on Saturday, but otherwise, I'm relatively open. I'm putting off my school projects! |

14 sounds ok to me. I'm not that picky. I'd like to do the crest if it isn't rainy. |

Yea, I'm surprised I haven't been reprimanded for wasting bandwidth! It sure is hard to get these Buellers over here motivated to ride in a group. First you have to find them! It would be a pleasure to have you out here, Glenn. I'll have to organize a SpringFast out here one of these days. |

I did manage to go for a ride with one of the locals. We rode up Cedar Crest, it's all brand new pavement. Sweet! I think CJ may have enjoyed it too much, it seemed he grew a woody! actually, here's a more "normal" picture.

From there, we rode out to the Sandia Classic motorcycle races, and met Murrae from Santa Fe. he was rather taken in with the Britton on display. It is one sweet looking bike.

Ya, it would have been nice to have ridden across the state with you, but that S2 must be cursed. LOL! The ride was still worth it just to see you and Denise, and meet Tbear. Shaina says hi and thanks for the reach-around. I'll be thinking of you and Denise during the Oktoberfast, wish I could make it. I'm sure you'll all have a ball. |

Hey, I've got a question for yall New Mexico riders. I'm from Fort Worth and it looks like I"m going to get the week of Thanksgiving off... I'll probably get out of town and was wondering what the riding weather would most likely be at that time of the year. Around the Albuquerque area that is...Could you ride up to Sandia Peak at that time of the year or would the weather stop ya. I drove thru a few weeks ago on my way back home from the Brag ride up in Colorado and thought about coming back and doing some exploring... I'm guessing the Taos and Red River area would be covered in snow??? Thanks, Kevin |

Hey Kevin, It was good meeting you up in Silverthorne, CO. There's some pics from the BRAG ride in the archives above. For info on the weather here in November, check out this site: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/abq/ I just moved here from Phoenix, only been here a month. But it appears that the average temps will be around 60-70 degrees during the day. I know it is about 30 degrees colder up on the Crest at any given time. Albq is around 5000' elevation, and the Crest is around 10,000'. So, Yes, you can probably ride up there, I doubt there will be any snow, but do dress warmly. Ping me when you get ready, and I'll show ya some of the back roads in the area. I'm learning them fast. |

Art, thanks for the weather link. I'll give it a more thorough look later. Things are still in the planning stages but if I do make it up I'll take you up on the offer of showing me some of the roads... On another note, the guy who worked at the HD dealer in Sante Fe mentioned something about trying to set up a Brag ride up there next year. Have you heard anything more about it??? Kevin |
