I think I will rent a LEO uniform and cobble up a reasonable facsimile of a radar/laser gun and scare the daylights out of you at some of the faster blind sweepers. Might even have some cold refreshments along to make amends. LOL You can run and you can hide, but not for long. I know your route and can probably do the "Gotcha Thing" two to four times on that run. |

Well, I ain't no corner worker and I doubt if Bomber will get a single round off as he would be laughing too hard. Knowing a few of the rest, they will just surrender and go peacefully to jail, er...the rest stop with the cold refreshments. Actually, this little tease has really perked my interest and I just may do it for the laughs and the comaraderie. Beware...Barney Fife has no bullets! |

Steve -- er, it's an evil plot? the reason I'm doin it at all is that there is one thing in common with all the BRAG chapters I am familiar with -- everyone sez riding is their favorite passtime, but no one ever rides (slight exageration) -- At least once a summer, I try to put together a run over roads I know and enjoy, hoping to introduce them to some folks that might not know em, and to sweep up others that might, just for grins and giggles -- it's also a good chace for some folks to ride with more experienced and skilled riders, and learn from their example, and for others to be able to BE that example (I fall somewheres near the learning end of the spectrum) . . . . all are welcome -- if we get more than 6 scoots or so, we'll split up into groups, with the usual caveats -- no drinkin/gettin high, if we're too slow for ya, wait til a stop sign and then move on ahead, waiting at intersections to gather everyone up, ride your own pace, and like that better yet, cancel your plans, bud, and come along! |

Well, *I* ride I've driven a car exactly 3 times since March Got about 3K on the Pirelli Scorpion Syncs that I put on early in the year. Wearin' quite nice btw. I'd *LOVE* to join ya. But unfortunately, my plans are pretty much set in stone. Got the airline tickets, the car reserved, etc.. It's a well deserved 3 weeks off, after workin' 60-80 hours a week, all year. Next year, when the 'lil guy is big enough to ride with me, we're takin' the bikes to VT with us. VT has some *REALLY, REALLY, REALLY nice roads. The wife and I will be going on a ride, gettin' lost thru the kettle on Sat if anyone else is interested. |

I know it's kind of short notice but I'm having a Sportbike day at the dealership Oct 8th,10-3:00 I had about a day to put this together. You can help me pull it off by coming! So far I have planned, Sportbike bike show Helmet toss contest, men's and women's, see who can throw my old helmet the farthest. Burn out pit available for those so inclined, it's almost winter here in Wisconsin so might as well burn that tire! Specials on bikes,t-shirts,hooded sweatshirts, parts Buell demo rides! Food of some sort, not sure yet. Band? Working on it. More details to come. Who can come? Anyone want to help me? |
