ins adjuster already looked at it,i was supposed to know the verdict today from them,but i hav'nt heard back from them.the bike is really not that bad.pretty much all cosmetic.my brother actually took it for a short spin around the block a few times said it felt and drove good.the adj was pretty cool and he knew that it was easily fixable so,he was going to help me out the best he could.so,i'll keep you guys posted | ||

By the way, have you ever looked at Charlie's profile pic?  Nuff said... Oh, and no riding for me this weekend. Caught a nice flu bug from my 7 yr old and am still in the middle of it. Oh thanks Brian. Now I know where I got this flu bug on Monday - after we shook hands and talked on Sunday. Well at least I'll try to make the ride on Sunday, I'm not signing off this early in the week (LOL). Well, if not this weekend the 17th or 18th look good for me for a ride. Dosn't look good for me going to Alburquerque that weekend for the vintage races, gas cost is too high. | ||

I probably won't be able to ride this weekend... You guys can stop by if you'd like though. I'll be replacing the fuel pressure regulator on my truck and cleaning up the bike for a trip to Vegas next weekend. I think I'll be removing the header so I can replace the teflon tape on the two oil fittings that are just behind the header collector. That'll require an oil change as well though, so I may just clean them up and call it good until my next oil change. | ||

Just got back from Chandler with my new shoes.... for my bike that is Michelin Pilot Powers. Initial feel I think I'm going to like these tires, on the freeway on long sweepers the bike feels like a guided missile now. I will be scrubbing them in tomorrow morning at Tortilla Flats, anybody else wanna play? J | ||

When am I coming out? Good question, don't know yet but I know I'm coming. I only get two weekends a month because of my schedule and one of them is being spent in Ocotillo with FB. That leaves the weekend of the 24th, but that's so close to Octoberfast that I'll be saving my fundage for that. How bout I shoot for October??? Can we plan the BRAG October ride for maybe the 22nd? Maybe hit these spars I keep hearing about but have never done??? Thanks guys... Charlieboy | ||

I can't make the flats this weekend. My bikes stuck at Chandler h-d. That noise we heard was a broken exhaust clamp, but the engine is also making more noise than it should. As long as it's fixed before the end of the month so I can go to Octoberfast I'll be happy. Oh, and I'll be stuck at work on Mon next week so I won't be able to make it to the meeting.  | ||

Kelly: I have extra exhaust clamps if you need them. Bummer you cant make it to the meeting, I am going to see about getting the meetings held on weekends. I don't like the weekday thing. hey kelly, we'll get your bike back to you this weekend, i.ve got clamps at work,and i have a feeling that the noise is from the primary chain or sprocket which should be an easy fix, so don't write off this weekend. J I'd like to try and make it this weekend also since my last venture out was not very successful,I'm really jonesing for a ride.It a depends on how donna is feeling this weekend.A ride to the flats sounds perfect,it'll give me a chance to try out the new gear. I have the primary open on my spare XB9 motor so if its a parts issue of any of those internal primary parts (gear,stator,clutch,chain, shoe/tensioner) get ahold of me and we can work something out. | ||
