Sorry to hear about your Mom. My Mom passed away shortly after her 80th birthday also. Although she was not in the best of health, she died suddenly of a stroke. I'm sure it's been said before: someone's not really gone as long as you remember them.

I'm think on have Buell brag BBQ at my house in Hoffman Estates.Like to find out what dates are good for you guys. Ribs,dogs,burgers,and etc. Donates to food would be nice.Also if going drink need cage it.So give some dates guys or gals also thinking getting lakeshore HD brag guys too!!!Maybe some do a ride from my area before!! so... i got back from Sturgis just last weekend [rode my softail]. it was incredible !!! great time and great riding.

saw a lot of BUELL's out there too !!!
made me think about riding the lightning out there next year... who's in ?

Any more details about the group ride? I thought it was Sun. the 11th. Since I know you are now familiar with the track there, you know how cool that would be.

OK, for all of you Buellers within riding distance of Appleton WI.
The official kick off for the FBRAT(Ferris Bueller Rides Again Tour) is Sept 3rd and 4th at H-D/Buell of Appleton Wi.
It is Labor Day weekend so some of you will have some extra time off.
Schedule so far,
Sat
Meet Ferris Bueller and Madduck, they are the ones that made this adventure possible.
Group photo at 2:00
Ride starts at 5:00
Dinner(location TBD, no Spidey, it's not going to be Hooter's)
We will all need to get to bed early, Sunday is a big day!

Sunday,
Leaving Appleton at 6:30-7:00 AM!
Meet at H-D/Buell of Appleton
Ride to the Dells for the photo at Mt. Olympus theme park.
In the Dells we will be picking up some more Buellers.

OK. I'm back and ready to ride again. I certainly enjoyed riding to and watching the Springfield mile last year (first time) and would recommend it. As a note, highway 171 near entrance of Starved Rock was completed closed off last weekend, and looks like it will be that way for awhile (construction??). Autobahn races sound like fun, too. I have much catch'n up to do around here.
