I think that news just settled it. We need to pick some time between now and 12 July to do the whole BBQ thing again. Patrick's the only one of y'all that I've actually met so I need more faces to go with these usernames. Maybe something around the 4th of July? As an aside, has anyone else seen a red Blast in the area? I've seen it twice in Keller now and I still have no clue who it is. |

Greeeeeeat. I finally move from Lubbock (closest store in Amarillo) and think I've gotten lucky that the Garland store is only like 5 miles away. Oh well. Hopefully the Ft.Worth store is better. |

Oh yeah, that reminds me, I finally moved back to the DFW area, so hopefully I can go on some rides sometime. I'm in Sachse, near Richardson and Garland, right by Bush and 78. See ya around... |

Dude, you're right around the corner from me! I'm just north of you about 2-3 miles - from 190/Bush, go N on 78; turn left on Murphy Rd. (CVS on the right); go 1/2 mile past Campbell/Blackburn Rd. and Murphy Farms is on your right! There are some pretty OK roads to the N and NE of our area - nothing like Cleburne-Granbury, but not bad... |

Hello everyone, time to give my long overdue report on my last Ducati trackday on May 23rd. The beginner class had only 14 riders. I counted 18 in intermediate and 9 in the advance group. Special guest Doug Polin was there to help instruct. I have no ideal who he is but apparently he had several titles in the 90’s. Again the bikes were mostly Ducatis, I saw only 1 Aprilia, 1 Triumph and a KTM Duke motard. There were 2 BMWs, which you could pass at will, and another Buell. A guy from Austin I met at the BRAG Texas Twisted event came up with his S1. I plan to attend the next trackday at Cresson on Monday September 12th. Dago said he would join me. How about everyone else? Can we make a Buell showing! It’s a very relax atmosphere with a lot of foreign accents. I plan to post this in the other Texas Storm Fronts and again later this summer to see if we can get more Buell riders. |

Yall missed something at the AMS demo day today. Besides the food and a few prizes they gave out the demo rides were great. I rode the ST3, Monster SR2 and the Multistrada 620... The monster was pretty cool, the ST3 was nice, but the Multistrada impressed me very much. The engine runs fairly well, handles like a dream, and is very comfortable. I look at it and I don't like the looks of it but it sure rides good, sorta a ugly duckling bike. I didn't try the 999 as it's just too uncomfortable to me, although next time... If I ever do buy a duck it would be from Jeff and Co. Kevin |

I would have loved to be there. Hopefully next time I'll be in town. I'd really like to ride the new BMW K1200S. I want something that I can put some serious miles on in speedy comfort. |

Ok Folks, would you leave your Red 2004 XB12R in a strip center parking lot all day and all night? Well there’s one by my house that has been there since at least 10am Saturday. When it was still there at 5pm I thought it was someone who was working in one of the stores, but when it was still there at 5am & 8pm Sunday and 6am Monday, same parking space, I called the police and gave them the license number and they said it has not been reported stolen. Any thoughts? BTW, I left a message on it Saturday morning directing them to the BBS, the DFW topic and my handle, maybe I should go get it. |

Yeah, that's pretty weird. Is there anything obviously wrong with it, like maybe its not running? Why would you want to go get your note back? |

7pm Monday, still there. No noticeable damage. I was thinking about getting my note just because this doesn’t seem right. |

Picked up the bike from my dealer and rode solo for a couple of hours. Just had the 5k service and switched to Syn 3, and boy, does it shift better now. No more "clunk" - it's got a way more positive feel, and no problem finding 1st or neutral while stopped. In fact the whole experience is better - a fresh TPS and a fully broken-in engine add up to one heck of a ride! BTW - met a guy with a sweet X1 at DHD Saturday morning. He said he hasn't posted here but checks BadWeB frequently - he goes to SFA. Post up, Robert, and lets ride! |

Every Sunday day until the weather gets bad. We ride anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hrs depending on everyone's schedule. we went to hooters in plano of 75 this past sunday and blue goose on greenville the weekend before. A short ride is usually out east of Allen on some twisty country roads before we go get some food. The address I gave above is for Ted and Larry's Sport's bar in Allen, TX. It's close to the Harley dealership in allen. (you can't miss all the bikes out front though, ranging from 8-12 right now). The group usually meets again in the evening for a bbq and to just hang out. |

17 hours, 660 Miles, 5 bears, 1 flat, 1 new tire, 1 swim at my favorite camp site, and at least 50 WaaaaaaaaHOOOOOOOOOO's equates to one hell of a day through East Texas and Oklahoma. Broken Box, OK - The overlook from my favorite camp site Broken Box, OK - At the water's edge 5 bears that scared the living $h1t out of me. They actually ran right out in front of me. I wish someone would have filmed me trying to take this picture. The XB on Talemina Dr. Another pic from Talemina Dr. The XB somewhere in OK or maybe TX. I was too tired at this point to care.

Dago, sounds like a great trip. Was this a solitude trip? I saw a yellow XB9R at 1:45p Saturday going North on Granbury Rd. at Wedgmont Cir. N. As usual I was in my truck going the other way. BTW the Red XB12R left sometime between 8:30p on 7/14 and 6:30a 7/15. It was there for 6 days! |

As a matter of fact it was. I needed it. BTW, I got your message and still have the piece. Paypal a fair price and it's yours. It's too bad we can't get all of the phantom DF/W XB's together here online. |

IronButt trip In November: Me and buddy of mine are planning a 1,000 mile trip in 24 hours sometime around the first of November. Here's the route. Dallas - OK City - Amarillo - Clovis N.M. - Lubbock - Abilene - Dallas. It's just over 1000 miles according to the Road Atlas. Anybody interested in coming along? I plan on documenting everything to have it certified. I also saw a Red XB12R on I-20 and I-35 in Ft. Worth Sunday. Sure wish we could get all of these people together. |
