I didn't do much riding yesterday but it was still an interesting day.......... It turns out that before Kutter was in Janesville there was another dealership. Due to the Owner's health they closed up shop, but they didn't dispose of the inventory. My step-dad had told me about this old shop a few years ago. Turns out his friend is buying up the contents of the building. I was there on day 2 of packing and sorting. What I didn't get to see was the 11 brand new 197x bikes that were already loaded in the semi! Old bikes in different states of condition: Two more from the shed, an old knucklehead and a aermachi Unused frames behind the frames is an HD snow mobile Old motors A Sprint Already on the truck What I didn't see was all of the fenders and tanks that had already been boxed up. As well as the rest of the old parts department. |

Hey Kinger! He's got a couple M50's there. I'd be VERY interested in getting my hands on a motor for one. Mine seems to have gotten stuck after sitting where it did for many years. |

Chris, are those the red and white bikes? Lots of good stuff this guy got. Including a 1976 Wide Glide that they uncrated. Some fluids and a battery and it cranked right up! Here is a pic from the races at RA, sort of

Kinger, yes those are the red and white bikes. The ones in the picture are the boys version with a larger tank and the frame that went straight back. They also had a girls version with the backbone attached much lower on the down tube and a smaller tank. That's the one I've got. Regardless, the motor was the same on both. |

Hey anyone riding tomorrow? We have a sitter, so we just need to get out there and ride. It doesn't matter where the destination is. I think we should just go and ride. Who's going? When? Toni |

Starting Thursday, I wont be on a bike for 3 weeks. Going to VT on a very well deserved vacation. Maybe I'll break down, and go rent a Road Glide for the weekend, and ride around. VT has some *REALLY* nice roads. |

Is this thing on??? Back from Vegas (I have actually been back since the 4th). The wedding was interesting, Elvis Chapel and all. Lots of fun, sun and drunken debauchery! Oh yeah, I donated to the casino as well........ It was hot though. 108 when we landed friday, 105 Sat. and 108 again on Sunday. A dry heat definitely is different than hot around here. It is like sitting in an oven!! |

And here I thought you were such a sweet, nice guy !! Glad you're back and had fun !! I never said that I was the leader of said debauchery. Besides what happens in Vegas..... The heat wasn't too unbearable. We did spend time by the pool both Sat. and Sun. The Ceasar's pool is really nice. |

And, a few more New England pics. Moose #1 of 12 we saw on Monday evening. And #2 And see, here's proof that Toni is a tree hugger. Believe it or not, that's a pine tree that is THAT big. Beaver Brook Falls in NH off hwy145, which btw, is SUCH a nice road. Would certainly be a FUN buell road Neither of these pics give the falls justice. It's a breathtaking view. Screw Auger falls in NH And a couple more from Bar Harbor And Thomas being pathetic tellin us he "JUST CAN'T WALK!"

And Thomas being pathetic telling us he "JUST CAN'T WALK!" Grace tells us that all the time! Steve, I see you rented and Explorer again. We really like ours. The downside, just over 10,000 miles since Jan. That is better than my truck though, I have put 13.5k on that since March! Damn commuting. I was hoping to do some riding this weekend, but we have to go to a family wedding. It has been 2 weeks since I rode the bike. |
