Guys, I am in Colorado still. The riding here is absolutely FUN! I bet I have got thru 1000 twisties in 2 days. For some reason I can corner better on the left than my right. (according to my rear tire). I have a bunch of pictures I will post when I get back. The best road I found was a back road from Estes Park to Central City. There was hardly any traffic on it and VERY curvey. I also hit Rocky Mountain National Park. Good views, but way too much traffic to be real fun. Rocky Mountain HD was also very Buell friendly. Talk to you guys soon. Drake |

Drake, Hey you lucky dog, If you go back to Rocky Mountain HD, say high to Jessica Bridges for me, she's an old friend from high school (if you know what I mean), she likes tall guys Also, if your left cornering is better than your right, then you use your rear brake to much! Try to keep your toes (at all times) on the pegs, not your balls of your feet, and really concentrate on staying off the arches if it all possible (major nonono). Except when cruzing of course! (read that in my racing manual for Idiots, go figure?) Well dude have fun, and be safe, remember, they are there to see the mountains, not some nut on a Buell!! |

I left a "Willie G's Bastard Stepchildren" patch on the tank bags of a black M2 and a red S3 with Kansas plates that were parked next to my X1W at the Lakeside Speedway flat tracker races Saturday night. I never got to see the owners, they arrived after me and my buddy Randy who was riding my red 93 FXR and we left before they got back to their bikes from a pit visit I guess. I thought that I might see more Buells there, but alas just those two and mine. So I thought I would reward them with a free patch for riding their Buells out there. If those were a couple of you guys, let me know. |

Rusty...Hi...MY wife and I were out at Lakeside for the Flat trackers too, We saw the S3 missed the M2 and your "W"...had a great time, went to the pits after the races were over and the riders and the crews are just friendly as hell. It did get me pondering about setting up a Blast for dirt News Flash...I no longer drive a truck for J.B. Hunt anymore. Got a call from H-D on 6-22 (after an 18 month wait) to start on 7-11 as a Production Tech I in the paint dept. I'm still in awe of the K.C plant operation. If anyone has a little time, I highly recommend taking the plant tour...it's nothing short of awesome! Andy |

Hey guys, there's going to be a stuntshow by MidWest Stunters on Sunday at 11am if anybody's interested. They're gonna have a bunch of food and music and whatever, then everybody's gonna do a charity ride to Ottawa. I won't be able to make the ride because I'm riding on belts on my back tire, but I might get to do a few wheelies at the stunt show if they let me. See you guys there if anybody cares. Later... |

Hey, Larry, congratulations on the new bike. Jim redid my exhaust on the Lightning and it sounds even better than his! We'll be gone for two weeks on business (plus riding back from Spokane) but do come out and see the new bike. Worth the trip!!! |

Hey Larry: Can you check with Dave to see if the correct tail bag for the Lightning has come in. Dave is supposed to ship it when it does. If it's in, can you haul it back for me? Dave has my credit card. Thanks, Joan |

JJ, why don't you try and be a part of the solution rather than the problem with all your ranting, raving, and badmouthing. |

Paul, thanks...I can't wait till Sunday...The days seem to be going very slowly...To say the least I am very excited...I did love the M2 but it just wasn't the dependable ride I need..And let's be honest theres nothing like the XB...Look forward to doing some riding very soon with everybody...we need to get our Friday night rides back in gear.. I'm starting to agree with you Larry. I love my S1, but two things brake for every one thing I fix. I keep saying that I can't afford an XB, but with all the repairs I've done... |
