Just so everyone is aware, i recently picked up an X1 and an S3 parts bike, the X1 is a 99, the S3 is a 2000, so if anybody needs anything let me know, these were chopper donor bikes, so none of the stuff that goes into a chopper is present (engine wheel brake rotors and so on, still a bunch od good to fair parts) PM with needs or wants R |

So, here’s the gig I’ll be a the Full Moon (41 and 137) round 7ish Sunday AM for some java – Full Moon is attempting to replace the much-missed Highland House (which is still not being used for anything – anyone wanna chip in and make sumpin outa the old dear?) 7:15 rider’s meeting (which will be very short if it’s just the usual suspects) 7:30 Kickstands up w/full tank o gas (gas station across the street from the Moon) note, no 10 minute rule less’n you give me a shout on my cell 41 to WI State 142 to Burlington (right smack dab through the Bong Recreational Area – go figure!) From Burlington, silly lil roads to H and Palmyra Road X, Piper Road, and environs – up 83 to Holy Hill for our spiritual well-being, then make it up as we go along up to the Northern Kettle Unit to Dundee All welcome – we’ll split up into groups if we get more than 6 riders or so . . . . . . lemme know if we should expect ya! |

Bomber, Thanks for the info regarding Sunday ride into Wisconsin. Always a very satisfying ride in the areas you plan to hit. Weather report looks real good at this time. I'll try to make Full Moon by 7:00, but that's a long way from my new home. So if I don't catch you in the morning, I hope to perhaps see you up north in the playground later in the day. I'll be riding the blue Suzuki SV650. I know your general routes! |

I spoke with Danielle Williams c/o IL-HD Rider's Edge today, and here is current info regarding the Experienced Riders Course (ERC) this weekend. Please note the corrected times, schedule and REQUIREMENTS: - Saturday, 25 June 2005 - 8:00am until 3 to 4:00 pm - park bikes in IL-HD lot, meet at classroom (front door on Harlem, first building south of dealer showroom) - Boots (must cover ankles) - Gloves (must be full-fingered) - Helmet (must be full-faced, they may have some loaners) - Long sleeve shirt - Long pants (jeans are OK) - DRIVERS LICENSE (sorry Cy :-) - PROOF OF INSURANCE - VALID LICENSE PLATES WITH CURRENT STICKER Classroom for first few hours, the remainder of day spent on the range. Bring your own lunch (money). There are indeed 12 people signed up for class; 5 from the club and the rest are "outsiders". Program must maintain ratio of 6 students per instructor in order to remain acredited (by whomever). The morning classroom will be all 12 people, but the range exercises will be split into two groups of 6. Therefore, the club and one "outsider" will all be together. Danielle states that no-shows and last minute cancels are not uncommon. So keep calling her at (708) 788-1300 extension 20 if you want to check current availability if you haven't already signed up and are interested. |

Paul, Yes that was me. Ch. 5 asked me to inspect a "new" home that had some problems. Turns out it had tons of problems...big surprise, it was built in 7 days by one of those home makeover shows. Zac and I spent about 4 hours inspecting it and only touched the surface. Cheap, Fast, Good....pick two. Frank |

Track day at Autobahn yesterday was much fun! It was good to see everyone out there. Between the heat and the workout (that north track will keep you busy), I'm exhausted today. |

My grass is so brown and dried out that I'm worried about brush fires ala California, especially with all the fireworks going off. Although, we did get a good rain last night. |

I think I drove by and dropped cigar in your front lawn. The fire dept said there's little smoke damage not to worry. So to save some money on watering drink lot beer just water down lawn. Keg party is advised for max coverage. |

July 4th, is a day of celibration, and a day of family, and it is with heavy heart, that I come to Windy city Club and ask for help. You see last week, a dear freind died of lung cancer, he was an avid rider, and rode in the TFT parade with me, and was a good friend to all that he met. His death was sudden and very unexpected, and has left his wife with over 400,000 dollors in medical expenses that insurance will not cover. His friends have joined together to help, and I ask you as friends, if you can please help her. Aaron was a freind, his wife is in trouble, she really ows that much money, the ride starts at The Village Tap(2055 W. Roscoe in Chicago) and Ends at the Matchbox, for $25 buck Goose Island has decided to donate t-shirts, and you will be helping a good group of people, $25 is the minimum, if you can give more, if you need more info drop me a line, as a few of you know this has hurt me pretty bad, but at least i can do a little something to help her out thanks guys, its going to be a tuff 4th for me Spread the word in chicagoland if you can, tell everybody that rides that you know, this is less of a ride, and more of a memorial R |
