So did everyone get wet? Jose, for info on the Frog togs, I must say, they work very well. I stopped and put the lowers on shortly after I left the track. Got caught in a pretty good down pour, then rode in heavy road mist for about 20 minutes. Got home dry as a bone, too bad the stuff in my saddle bags did not |

All I have to do is get there prior to 1000hrs and it's on!?! Don't joke with me about this.. as you know, I missed the 'official' first one since I had a prior commitment.. TALK MY FRIEND AND TELL NO LIES FOR YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND UPON YOUR RESPONSES... (hows that for trying to bump this up a little?) (Message edited by blublak on June 08, 2005) |

you gonna let a little thing like a Monsoon keep you from the second "First" meeting of a brand new, "regenerated", Brag club of Frederick Buell?...you just gonna let it fizzle out? .. again. You gonna lay in bed, listen to the pitter patter of rain drops and say it's all over? Come on, NOTHING is over unless WE decide it is,.. was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl harbor, NO, so who's gonna let a little black cloud ruin an otherwise glorious day, Are ya with me? So LETS GOoooooooooo |

yeah yeah yeah, have fun buzzin around the track at high speeds, with no regard for the law, .. oh did I mention I got pulled over today, That was fun. No ticket, just a puzzled look at the old fart that popped out from under the helmet. Thanks young officer. Oh, and besides, can't come to Summit point, I'll be doing the Cops ride, to benefit the police officers? What a neat world we live in, huh. Have fun Jose, see you next time. |

Welllll, I was just ridin along, minin my own bus, when,....... aw hell, I was blastin around a few nice curves in town, not payin attention to what I was doin. I thought I heard a new sound, like an exhaust leak, and was doin a couple of full throttle jaunts from stop sign to stop sign, when I heard another new sound,.. a siren. Even then , my feeble mind did not comprehend, since I was so preoccupied with my new engine noise, ( that was not ), so by the time I DID look up and into the mirror, I saw the lights of a Frederick County Sheriffs patrol car growing smaller in my rear view. Nice , huh. SO, I slowed, pulled over, shut it off and proceeded to dismount and remove my helmet. I knew I done a bad thing.... I was sorry, and displayed my most pitiful duma$$$ me face. Oh the shame of it all, if only I was a responsible citizen... but alas, the young astute officer recognized my experienced responsible rider demeanor, as displayed by my correct response to the question as to why I was stopped, " Ah, Speeding?", " gee I am sorry, I thought I had an exhaust leak, and was listening to the engine"... then gave me the tongue lashing I deserved, "I got your exhaust leak..... Slow it down"...... yes sir, no problem. No insurance increase today |

Okay, met a fellow Bueller who lives just a few miles up the road. Invited him to meet us for our ( Frederick Buell ) first Brag ride next week. For anyone else interested, we are meeting at the Sheetz gas station on rt. 17 just off 340 in Brunswick, MD. @ 10 AM Sunday June 29. Gonna take a 100 mile or less(?) trip through some nice roads in W Va... Jake, if you catch this, I will be meeting Ed and Hopefully Joe ( The fellow I just met ) at the Thurmont Sheetz around 9, leaving about 915. See ya, Greg |

Greg, I thought the ride was on Sat June 26, that was my understanding, otherwise the schedule conflicts, as the wife's company picnic is Sat, and the reunion is Sun. The 29th is a Weds, too. Thought I'd point that out. Jake |

Ah, oops, Right, the 27th. I remember talking about the 26 vs. 27, I have a previous ride scheduled for the 26, and thought we ( Brag group ) agreed on the 27th. Could be wrong. I'll check with Blaine to make sure. Unless peter catches this.... Hey Blublak,, was it Sat or Sun.? Gee I hope it's Sunday, I really want to do this, not to mention I have recruited two more riders......for Sunday |
