uuuuu. I like surprises. Ill keep and eye on UDots website and see if they plan on opening Monte, East Canyon or Mirror Lake this weekend. If the open Monte and East Canyon at least I figure Emigration to East Canyon. Head up to Evanston for lunch. Then head for Woodruff and Monte . That will put us into Huntsville, I wouldn't mind hitting north ogden canyon again we can hit I-15 on the other side. Josh |

Sorry it took me so long to post again... hectic week. Anyway I am going to check with UDOT tomorrow and see if 65, 35, 39 or 150 will open this weekend so we can plan a twisty run. Again all are invited but this will definately be an all go no slow run so if your looking to cruise go hit state street. That came off a little angry, not intended that way. I'm thinking Monday since most everyone should have the day off. Rek, Let us know if you end up with a scoot and maybe we could set something up, if you don't maybe meet for lunch at some point. |

I've got 2 other riders for Saturday. My Wife and a coworker. I'll be ready for Monday also, got to catch up from the rain! 200 milers each day? Sandwiches in the saddlebags for a cheap & quick lunch? I am testing a mount for a video camera so we can edit something fun. DBird |

Saturday is a no go for me unfortunately. But I am up for a 200 on Monday, as far as food goes I have my back pack for a reason. We can find a good section of East Canyon or Monte and make a few runs, catch it from the side lines and try out your camera set up. I just checked commuter link and they've dropped the warning notes for East Canyon and Monte; 150 is still showing closed though. Lets meet at the mouth of East Canyon @ 930, I will come down through it to check the road out. I need to be home by 3:30, but we should have plenty of time. Here's the rough run down for you: From: Emigration Canyon, Salt Lake City, Utah To : Morgan, Utah To : Trappers Loop Road, Huntsville 84317, Utah To : Monte Cristo, Huntsville, Ut To : Woodruff, Utah To : Monte Cristo, Huntsville, Ut To : Trappers Loop Road, Huntsville 84317, Utah To : Salt Lake City, Utah I'll be running east canyon twice. Let me know what you think, Josh |

I'm going to run up to Kamas tomorrow and check out Soapstone Bassin Road. I should be in Kamas about 12 at the Chevron we stopped at last weekend if you want to come scouting with me. |

Congratulations we've got an Archive!!!, Anyway had a good run up to Kamas today. Soapstone Bassin is/was a hard packed dirt trail though at the moment its more like a creek. Monday should still be on though the wife is some what upset with me at the moment... rode for 4 hours then came home and passed out... oh well... I was tempted to take East Canyon home, but figured it could wait. I had a lot of fun flying through I-15 traffic at 90 anyway. Talk to you all later, J |

When I got up at 8 it was cloudy but dry here so I went. I got half = way around East Canyon and it let loose on me. It took me 3 hours to make it home, but I could still feel my hands. = I guess we'll just have to try it another weekend. |

Hey guys, gonna run up to Idaho Falls this weekend and ride a xb12s since we don't have the demo event going on here in UT. The wife's family lives up there so it's more convenient than going to CO or NV. I've got my bike in pieces right now, getting it painted and waiting on a wheel to be straightened. Anyway, hopefully in a few weeks I can hook up with some of you and go for a ride... -Mike |

Mike, This is the time to grab the brass ring! The mountains will be beautiful this Spring & Summer. Riding will be great. I love my 9S and it was a dealer transfer from Idaho Falls. Getting ready to do my 10K mile service in the next week or so if you want to see anything while it is apart. DBird (Message edited by dbird29 on June 03, 2005) |

I work nights but let me know when you tear into it, I'm always happy to look at engine guts. Maybe Saturday in the AM or something... Just going on weekend now, off until Tuesday. Grap the brass ring? I ride up Big Cottonwood Canyon at least once a week when the bike is together and started doing East toward the end of the season last year. i avoid Little Cottonwood, too many guys on cruisers going slow, very scenic ride though. -Mike |

Did 300 miles today and it was fun. Emmigration, East Canyon, Morgan stopped at the Browning factory store and bought 2 shirts for $20, Henefer, Croyden, Lost Creek road to the dam, back to Morgan for lunch at Sheri's, Mt. Green, Trappers Loop to Huntsville, Monastery of The Holy Trinity for some honey, Monte Cristo Rd to 8900 feet and snow, turn around and retrace all the way back to SLC. Let me know when you want to ride as I am ready to go again. DBird |

Some pics. Lost Creek Res. Stupid shingle staple in back tire. Yep it leaks. I have a fork spring compressor ordered from Traxxion Dynamics to do my 10K service but haven't heard when it will ship. I will get the tire fixed before the weekend. The 150 route from Kamas to Evanston looks interesting. DBird (Message edited by dbird29 on June 05, 2005) |

Good pictures and I am sorry about the staple. I'll keep checking with the Kamas Forest Ranger station and see if I can't get a opening date for the 150 route. Let me know if you have your tire fixed for next weekend. Maybe we could do the Logan run if your up and running. Let me know when you get the compressor, I need to put in a new fork oil seal. If the weather stays ugly maybe we can plan something else out. |
