Rob, I made the spread between the swingarm and the bolt head for the right foot peg... make the spread and remove the isolator then remove the jaw, slip the belt thru and make the spread again to replace the isolator...the ergo's for an S1 I'm sure are different so you'll need to find the best place to make contact with the jaws...Remember, be gentle |

Any one looking for a 99 X1, all white frame and wheels, and very, very clean??? Its been sitting for about 6 months or better. Not sure of the miles on it though, but it sure looks like it was in good shape, it's at Xtreme Ford dealership, they are asking 5500 for it. But the service tech in the back said hell-- they will take whatever they can get, he said if you offer them 3500 they would probably jump on it. Anyone intrested let me know, I gothe sales guys # and name. |

Sams fastest run was 11.70 at 120mph, and that was with a bad clutch, too much traction, and a cigarette in his mouth. Once he gets that front end to stay down he will easily be in the mid 10s. I think he about looped the bike in every gear, so once that is controlled watch out. |

Sam's bike is very impressive to say the least. He pulled high very high wheelies through second gear, and still managed to run and 11.7. With some wheelie bars and or extended swingarm I would say mid to low 10's. There was a drag car out there running in I believe the low 9's. That was awesome. Imagine a pro fuel dragster!! |

So we rode out to Clinton Lake today. Grouped up with some Nortons, Triumph's and BMW's. Turned left at the T at the end of HWY 10 twisted the throttle and my new belt went snap, not 300 miles on it. First I thought maybe it jumped out of gear, so I shifted to second and nothing but RPM'S. Look down and no belt. Called up Duff, asked him for a favor and within 1.5hrs I was back on the road again with my old belt. While we were waiting we found missing exhaust flange bolts on Larry's M2. What a day. |

The City X you saw today was probably the one that was bought up a Central today. If the guy had on a purplish helmet it was Frank on PDI.(Pre-Delivery Inspection) Otherwise it was most likely the new owner Steve. I told Steve about the bike, the Brag club, the Bad Web, So hopefully he'll post up on here soon, and who know's maybe we can get him out riding with us. I also told him alot bout Duff's bike and DTX's bike. I also told him about Tim & JJ's modified exh. JJ did you find your broken belt? |

Nope I took extra care of that belt installing it. My old belt was holding up good, I just wanted a new one for the MT trip. Not really sure why it went snap, clean break. It wasn't hard to find it just spit out on the road about 50 yard behind were I got stopped. Once duff got out there with my old belt we were under way once again. I rode it all the way home and around town with the old lady two up. Maybe someone mishandled it from the factory or something. Cause It came straight out of the box, and very carefully onto my bike, so I'm 99% sure it wasn't my installation techniques. |

I recal XB's having that problem maybe it was Sam that had the blown fuses when he turned the bars? Zeus asked if I would post about the EZ pull kit for my clutch I put on my bike. Here it is I bought it on ebay for 25 bucks it easy to install just losen the clutch cable remove the derby cover remove the clutch ramp and bolt it to the ramp arm and reinstall everything and adjust the clutch. The clutch is a little more touchy to adjust with it installed but can be done. I had installed a barnett clutch spring and it was realy hard to hold the clutch at stop lights now I think it is easier that stock to hold. I also think that since it reduces the pressure so much the clutch cable will last much longer also. If you have a outer clutch ramp that ir recessed on the back side as mine was you will have to replace it with one with the recess on the outside and I bought mine at Central for about 13 bucks. Over all it is an easy install and works great for a total cost of less than 45.00 including shipping and the new ramp. |

Talk about service. Here is the scoop. I'm sitting in my easy chair watching some horse cartoon called Spirit, with my rugrat Joey. Next thing I know Larry and Zues are at my front door. Zues was in the area, so he figured he'd stop by and pick up my broken belt. He then ask's me if I want a refund or a new belt. I'm not sure you get service like that anywhere else in the city. Thanks Zues!! Paul yup thankfully it wasn't something major!! Scott your powerstroke really impressed me at the dragstrip man! Larry missed ya tonight on the little ride Susie and I went on. Took the ol'lady out to Shawnee park then came home on 7, 10, 435, and 35. It was pretty fun, she didn't flinch when I took the 9 up to about 100+ on 7. I figured I'd test out her metal. She told me it was fun, as long as we don't get pulled over. I was like hmmmm. Drake was that you we saw on 435 on our way home? |
