Just found The "girl" place. Here is my Buell. I have added the Laminar to the windscreen as an accessory. I LOVE MY BIKE! |

Grlryder, I wish I could claim something as awesome for my name, but it is only cuz I live in Midway Georgia... And I'm a pilot, get it, AV8R. I love the look of our bikes. I see you've added a different rear tire also, mine is a bit fatter, plus I have the tail bag like yours. I did add a windscreen though. |

Glad you like my bike...I LOVE IT! I like your bike too. The R tail is a nice look and the color is sweet! I started riding in 2001 on a 1981 Yamaha XS 400 special. Rode that for a couple years, then moved on to a 2003 BMW GS650 which was great for Maine roads. Once I moved to CT I needed something different and bought the XB12Scg. It really fits like a glove and handles beautifully. How about you? Previous bikes? |

Hi Grlryder, I am a beginner and this is my first bike. My husband found it and I fell in love with it. It is awesome and is very comfortable. The guy we bought it from put a lot of work in it but his local HD shop stopped selling Buells so he bought a Ducati. Lucky me! |

I just bought my first XB12Scg yesterday and am pleased to see their are other lady riders around here. :-) I just started riding in September '05 and my first bike was the Ninja 500R, which was a great starter...but I fell in love with the Buell and here I have it far sooner than I expected. I'll have pics soon. |

Hey Do we have any ladybuellers who ride the Uly yet? I don't know if there are any here, but I watched a lady testride a Uly at the last March Badness. She was not tall, and had to slide way off the seat to hold the bike up from a standstill. But she didn't have any problems with it. Rode it out of the parking lot standing on the pegs. She wasn't a young woman either, and from the way she rode, I suspect she has spent most of her life riding. |

Haha! I'm waaaayy too short - although I would love to ride one! I can barely reach the pegs, and I have about three inches (possibly more) of air between both feet and the ground when I let them dangle. Damn this 5'4" frame! |

For me the Uly is too tall. I am 5'9" and still on my toes. It's also alittle too top heavy for me.} (Message edited by blue_eyed_buellgirl on December 07, 2006) |

I am 5"9" to, and what I have found is that the factory replacement seat works wonders. I believe it is a 2 inch drop, and a very comfortable seat, while out touring. It really comes in handy when you need to back up few feet or inches. What makes this bike so cool, is the end destinations, that it can take you too. It is the Humvee of the American motorcycle, and the handling of this bike is outstanding. This coming from a former gixxer rider. |

Hi there Girls, Great to see that so many of you love your Buells just as much as I do. I am 5'4" and with the standard seat on my XB12s I am on tip toes. (Duck's Disease!) Just fitted the factory low seat and it has solved my problem but it's not too comfortable on a long trip!! I guess sometimes life's a compromise. I am going to take it to our local upholstery shop and see if he can put in a layer of gel so my butt doesn't get sooo sore |

Lady Buellers At last some women on Buells, I live in Newcastle, just north of Sydney in Australia and only know of one other girl on a Buell in OZ and she lives in Melbourne in Victoria, about 1,000klms (600 miles) south of me. I bought my first Buell, an X1 Lightning in 2000 and then traded it in on the XB9R in May 2003. Don't know why they aren't more popular with girls as they are such a great bike. I'm in a girls club here in Newcastle and there are over 300 members, but no other Buells except mine. Had a Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans MkIII for 15 years, 1 Ducati 900, 2 Yamahas, 1 Honda and some trail bikes before that. Been riding since 1973 and still have a Norton ES2 and BSA C11 in the garage. Husband has an FLHST Harley and still has his 1982 Roadster Harley in the garage. Wouldn't mind owning an XB12R in black, I take them for test rides when Buell are in town. Going away up north with the girls this week-end, no boys allowed, too bad it's suppose to rain. Wendy |

Hello Ladies, I've been a long time lurker on this thread and now I guess I need to post a question to you all. I am traveling up to Americade this Saturday was with 3 ladies we have a cabin.... one of the ladies broke her ankle last weekend and I tried to talk her in to becoming our War wagon for gear and stuff for the week but she couldn't break a doctor's appointment. So I'm looking for a lady rider for the extra twin bed we now have in Lake Luzerne, NY for the week of June 3, for $150.00 Me and my other rider both have XBs it would be cool to get another lady Buell rider to join us. please reply if you are interested.
