Bart - We decided to head down 169 as opposed to going through Jerome right? If so, I think we should do breakfast/lunch at the Hungry Bear Roadhouse that sits right next to Mayer HD. It'd be about 5 miles out of our way, but on a 65MPH highway. I've been there, and they have good food. Lemme know what you think. | ||

 National weather service says weather not good. Possibly snow at the upper elevations... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Is there a lower elevation contingency plan, you know, just in case the freak snow storm blows in??? | ||

Snow???? Its supposed to be around 70 degrees in Alpine all weekend with 30% chance of rain/thunder storms Sunday afternoon. | ||

.10 inch snow recorded at the station at the 191 and 180 junction. I'm not saying you guys are going to hit snow storms...Just saying watch for icy conditions at the upper elevations in the evenings. You all like to sight see and typically run late. I KNOW YOU GUYS! We never finish on time. In the evening as the temps drop is when to be careful. NOAA says 40% chance of rain/snow on Sunday w/scattered thunderstorms. Saturday however looks beautiful. I'm going to bet it all changes as the week wears on anyway, for better, or worse... | ||

I'm just getting back in from Albuquerque. VERY HIGH winds all the way. Big accident on I-40 shut down the freeway, and I had to re-route south through the indian reservation to 191, and then back up to I-40. Weather in New Mexico said rain was coming in for the weekend, so it WILL be cold in the upper elevations! We should have no problem with ice, as the sun will have been up for awhile. I'm home now waiting for the weather report to come on the local news. Don, Yes, down 169, and then up over the pass and down to 'Verde, turn off on Capt. Crooks trail, and then on to 260. Kobie has already made lunch reservations somewhere, I also made reservations at the creekside in Christopher Creek, East of Payson. We can take a break there. Don, sorry, but it's NOT a good idea to swing by your place. We have lots of miles to cover on Friday, and time is a premium. You can swing by your house and pick up what you need to get and then meet us down in town at the lunch stop. | ||

Wycked and I will have to make a short trip during lunch then. I need to get the entire stock exhaust system... I won't be able to carry it . Also, it's at a friends house that about 1/2 as far from down town as my place. Probably less than a mile. Your call though... You're just mad because my driveway is twistier than yours and the spars are at the end of it . | ||
