AL (belookin) will be meeting us Saturday in Morienci, along with a group of riders on Italian Stallions. Mike, Yes, the beer is on ice! I'm really looking forward to this, I've been on the road for too long on 4 wheels, with just short rides to appease me. It will be good to see old friends, and meet new ones. |

Just gotta have your priorities straight. Work is always optional, but Riding is MANDATORY!!! Glad to hear your gonna make most of the ride Charlie. The Carts are off, I couldn't verify 25 people to keep the reservation. We can still stop there though and try to force the issue. Mike, It will be good to meet you, and your friends. I hope Alex gets the chance to make it out. The beer is on ice! |

Just gave my S3 and Tom's S3 the final bath/ mechanical checkout for the ride, Tom's bike is in the trailer, mines getting a couple more days checkout on some mods I just made. We're itching to get this shindig started! We're leaving CA about 3 on Thursday eve, should roll into the Days Inn in Phoenix around 10 PM or maybe a little earlier. Jerry/Glenn, what is your Days inn Arrival time? You guys riding or trailering there? Al |

I will not know my driving condition until wednesday, I do however totally know my $$$ situation, nil, dead, broke, nonexistant. I have no income rolling in right now and my reserves have already gone the way of the dodo. I will atleast be at the meet and greet, at Arrowhead in the AM of Friday, and from there the rest will only be possible with a little help from my friends. So honestly, my participation is very much within every one elses hands. I tried to keep some funds aside, but it just didn't work as I hoped. |

If you drive, I'll take care of your room both Friday and Saturday night. Can others chip in for gas in a chase truck? Do we have a reliable chase truck (although we could try to pull it like a dog-sled team...)? |

Don't know what I can chip in for gas but I'd certainly chip in some. A chase truck is very worthwhile. Knowing if you are running chase would give me some different options to persue. Bet it would for others too. Al, Jerry likes to see the sunrise from the road so we should be there long before you. We might even have to wait to check in knowing him! Right now I think they're going by four and I'm riding along with them on two. All this is really going to screw up my already screwy day/night schedule. LOL! I believe Bart was donating his truck for the chase vehicle, or atleast that has been our discussion, and yes there has always been an intent on a chase vehicle, if not so much for problems, but so people can run lighter. |

Al, we're on the road at 0400 Thurs with the bike in the truck, with UniBear/Glenn as good company on two wheels. much as we can we're taking the "back" way, nice and relaxed, shooting for Phoenix early afternoon. Wycked, we're in for at least a tank of gas. FB&D ps: CSG, as i understand it we launch Friday morning from Arrowhead. psv2: You will not be let down by the route we have chosen. Be forwarned though. The first day will be a long one, and the second will be technical. I'm sure all will enjoy. Bart, i LOVE it when you talk dirty to me. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on April 18, 2005) |

Latest weather report shows partly cloudy skies all three days of the ride. This may bring the temps down a tad up in the mountains. But it will be Beulltiful in the lower elevations. So bring a set of thermals just in case. (you'll have a tough time trying to buy any here in Phoenix this time of year! The start schedule is: Meet at Arrowhead HD/Buell between 0800 and 0830 hrs Friday morning. Coffee and Doughnuts provided by the dealership. Riders meeting at 0845 hrs. Kickstands up at 0900. I wanted to head out Lake Pleasant road to the Carefree hwy, but it has been under construction. If I don't have to leave town, I'll check it out one more time, and then decide how to re-route to get out of town. My truck is an '02 Chevy S10 extended cab, it has been VERY reliable so far. It can carry two adults, and one small person comfortably, and can go about 300 miles on a tankful. We can toss whatever you don't want to carry in the bed. I have a ramp, and gas can. Wycked, if your up to it I'll cover whatever gas expenses we need. Donations will be appreciated of course! Mitzi may ride or drive part way also. Good news is, I may be unemployed temporarily once again, (he he) So I may have the whole week off. Those of you coming in early on Thursday, feel free to call me on my work cell: 602-568-5833, or my cell: 602-999-5108. If I'm free, I would be more than happy to get together with anyone that has free time. (I'm such a bored fella) I will have beer on ice of course, and maybe even some gatorade, and "soft" drinks. Any questions, email me at: Buelligan@cox.net, or give me a call. Ride/drive safe my friends, I look forward to seeing you soon! Carey, Are you back up and running yet? Can you and Kobie give me a call when you get a chance? Aw shucks Jerry, I only hope we can show you as good a time as I had when visiting your wonderful state last year! Maybe we'll be able to pursuade you to return next year!!! Remember, when it's cold elsewhere, it's Beautiful here! (Message edited by bartimus on April 18, 2005) |

Yes Bart the S2's up and running, I have the next 7 days off starting tomorrow. I have to swap out my rear isolaters tomorrow other than that I will also meet and greet earlybirds on Thursday, my cell # 480-444-6327. I talked to Johnny Lightning from Force Motor Products last Friday, He's trying real hard to make the ride and I'll find out tomorrow if he is. Even if he can't make it he still wants to raffle a Force XB Race Kit!!!! (Message edited by azbueller on April 18, 2005) |

After a weekend of extreme house painting, the little woman has given me the hall pass to attend Friday's leg of the ride! She knew how important this ride was for me and knew it was tearing me up. I still have a ton of sh.it to get done, but she's cool with me getting to Tucson Friday night to help with the final packing this weekend. I'm jazzed to be able to attend at all! I'll be in town all week too so I'm up for any pre-ride activities! |

Bart- As fate would have it I happen to live off of Carefree Hwy. It looks right now like I'll be joining y'all for the Friday part of the ride (at least to I-17). When I ride into town on Friday morning, I can come in up 99th/Lake Pleasant Rd, and let you know the road conditions For that morning. Just let me know. I don't really like going up I-17 anyway! |

Hey Bart, Don't know if Charlieboy ran-down our travel plans or not, but here it is. We'll be arriving in Show Low Saturday afternoon. Depending on when we arrive, we plan on checking into our room and cruising down to Hannigan Meadow and meeting up with the group on the way back. Any idea what time you plan on passing through there? Let us know what your estimated time table is. ** FYI - ROAD INFORMATION ** I DOWN-LOADED SOME MAPS FROM MAPQUEST & THERE IS A ROAD ADVISORY OF BRIDGE WORK NEAR CONCHO (SCHED END DATE: APR 29, 2005). Everyone, ride safe & we'll see ya Saturday. |

Al, You said that you were staying at Days Inn in Phoenix. I don't think that there is one. I chose LaQuinta North at I17 & Greenway because I thought that it was close to Art's place. I see there is another LaQuinta over by Arrowhead. Where are you guys going to be at? I can change my reservation before we leave Tue. I haven't heard from Alex yet whether he is a yes or no. p.s. I relocated the reservoir and it was easy. Thanks. |
