I think there are Buell riders down there, but they probably spend so much time riding the winding twisty hills and mountains that they don't stop long enough to read or post to the site here. |

Hello, I'm gonna be moving to Fayetteville in a year or so from St. Louis. Just seeing if there's fellow buellers or not. Talking about twisty roads, I was down there last week and had a blast. I'll check back later on. See Ya, Adam |

Used to live in Fayetteville- watch out fer the cops there....they sucks mucho hairy balls- primarily have a loathing for anything or one who even looks militaryish. Go fiure, not like we support 95 % of that community or anything..... Anyways, I'm living in Raleigh now, still a displaced Hoosier, but find that there are a LOT more twisties down here, and the riding season never seems to end. sure I'll see y'all on the twisties! |

Any North Carolina people heading for the H.O.G. Rallye in Burlington this weekend? I might show up on Sunday (With some HOGS) and would like to not be the only Buell. Chris |

I'm actually from Kokomo, Lucifer's country if ya ask me...at least for those on a bike. Road set up in a grid, with a friggin' stop sign every 5280 feet at a minimum. If yer unlucky, every 528 feet (that's 1 tenth of a mile, or one city block, for those of you not familiar with the midwest road structure...)And those back roads are all so f***ed up from all the farm equipment ruining them. I had to ride down south of indy to get any fun rides, or out to Lafayette to find the nearest interstate. Hence the move outta there. But I will admit, I miss the snow. My Jeep is fun to drive then, too. |

Hey guy's there are lot's of Buells in NC! There will hopefully be a bunch o' Buellers showing the colors at the weekly motorcycle gathering at Michael's Bar and Grill SUNDAY AUG 19. My post from ATC: The area's largest motorcycle hangout! The bikes & riders usually are there from 8:30 or so and start leaving for home or the road about 10:30. Michael's is located on 15 & 501 South of Chapel Hill on the Pittsboro town line. It's a bar & grill on the end of a strip mall across from the corner of Mann's Chapel Rd. Best route for our buddies to the West would probably be to take 64 East to Pittsboro town center then left onto 15-501 for about 5 miles. Folks from Raliegh can also take 64 to Pittsboro and go right onto 15-501 or, if you are in a hurry, take I40 West to 15-501 West(or South) in Chapel Hill. Just make sure you don't miss the 54 & 15-501 split outside Chapel Hill where 15-501 exits right a few miles past a large church parking area in the side of the road (there is a sign so keep eyes peeled). MAP: This rediculously huge URL should get you a map of the location: http://www.mapquest.com/cgi-bin/ia_find?link=btwn/twn-map_results&south=1&uid=u2h8c7s4y5o4x3yb:2l5zb2darl&aphoto=0&SNVData=3mad3-5.fy%28a8gd47_%29z125zt%3bah7-%3dua%2bF%15%2bPK%18%19%14%12C%2bnd%2b829%2bG%2b%23%2b829%3aXP%12HSC%2bMDCN%3aLY%3d0ts9w_0uaz_F%15%28xdrtgq%3a_ah6z5l%3aa%3bwh%7c2%24hgv%28l3iedgv%245l1t%3b8&pcat= We had a great time last time, See you there! HAS ANYONE ELSE READ THIS CRAP!!!!!!!!! The official press release follows: Harley-Davidson announced today the Company has chosen to end its factory VR1000 Superbike racing program and retire from the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) Superbike series after the final round of the 2001 season at Virginia International Raceway on September 28-30... "Our development team took a hard look at rebuilding the program this year, and what it would take to bring the VR 1000 to a competitive level and replace it with a new design. Harley-Davidson has determined the resources required to do that are simply too costly to pursue given our other business priorities," said Baker. Well, Maybe they will finally do the right thing and Create a Buell motorcycle to race in its place!!!!! Quite honestly, I think Eric Buell should demand it!!! Picotte is still under contract for another 2 years with HD. Can you imagine the possibilities with Pascal on an Eric Buell creation??????? Just found this on motorcycle online. please sign this and let HD know how all the Buelligans really feel!!! http://www.petitiononline.com/hdb/petition.html All people who want to see an American AMA Superbike win, sign this! thanks |

Hey, 2 questions: 1. Does the thing at Michaels go on every sunday? 2. Why the *&!% does it happen so early on sunday?!?! Jus' wonderin'. I went down there once, 'bout 9:30 one Sunday, and there were a ton of bikes, but not a single one of Eric's extended bi-wheeled family. Spiked, I'm in North Raleigh- off of Creedmoor Rd, halfway between the beltline and 540. Pang |

Pang, As far as I can tell it happens every Sunday. I've been meaning to ride up there, but leaving the house before 9am on a Sunday requires extensive effort and planning on my part. I'll get up there eventually. I'm near NCSU, about a block from the intersection of Gorman and Avent Ferry. Let me know if you ever want to meet up. Spike |

If you notice the times of the majority of my posts, you'll see that me being up before noon on a sunday requires a concerted effort... |
