Greg, The house hunting is all done. We are building a home in Janesville. My wife really likes that area and we have some friends there already, which will make the move to a new town a little easier. Found out tonight that we got approved for the apartment that we wanted. So we will be moving at the end of the month. The nice thing is that the company is paying for moving. So no packing or lifting for us!!! Dana, I used to think that as well, but Madison has a lot to offer, as well as the surrounding areas. Looking at a map it is closer to some good riding than this part of the state as well. |

Racine is the armpit of Wisconsin. Period. OUCH! I know a lot of people that really like Racine. They move away and then back again. To each there own. MEETING TONIGHT AT 7 P.M.!!! We need to figure out who is going to be taking care of the Treasurer duties, and who wants to be Director. We are moving at the end of the month, so this may be my last meeting for a while. Racine is the armpit of Wisconsin. Period. Thanks Heather Racine is better than Waukegan but thats not saying much. The bike doesn't mean everything to me. Its not the bike but the riding that means something. I suppose Racine is a great place to clean pipes or maybe fix a rockerbox leak, but for any actual riding it is far far from an ideal spot. |

I think Wisconsin, in general, sucks the big one. If Racine is the armpit, does that make Florida America's Wang? Think about it. Thank Homer Simpson for that one! |

Good meeting last night!!! We had two new members attend. Steve and Melissa. Steve rides an S3T and Melissa rides a Blast. Welcome. We also had three guest appearances last night. As we were talking out front of the dealership before the meeting, who walks into Hal's but the Man himself! Erik Buell. Turns out he was there to "jam" with some of the dealership employees. He also found out that his new CityX was ready!! Apparently he had a new ECU installed by the speed shop. Dan Bilansky stopped by and talked the club about track days. And Wes Orloff made a guest appearance. I will be posting some notes from the meeting on www.brewcitybrag.org later today. Watch for updates. All of the officers except our secretary made the meeting last night.....hmmmm...that is 2 in a row that she has missed...... |

Kinger...Don't know what the arrangement is at Hal's and obviously suggest supporting your sponsoring dealership, but you may want to check with Dave at Appleton HD/BMC as he may still have some openings for the May 25th Track Day at Blackhawk. His price for the event was $150. |

Outrider, Dan Bilanksy set this up with Leon of PTT. The $135 price is subject to getting enough people from the club to go. At the meeting it looked like we had 5 people that wanted to go not including myself. The last I saw, Dave had some spots left for this date at $135 also. The whole idea of having Dan B there to help us out was brought up by Dan last fall. He mentioned it during our Nov. meeting in the Speed Shop. I had already signed up for this date through Dave before I knew that Dan was talking to Leon about doing this. |

Rocker box leaks and cleaning pipes???Boy Dyna you real have it all thought out don't ya??Great comparo Follow the logic train instead of getting off at the 1st stop. I dont hear much about anything in regards to riding in the Racine area...I do read quite a bit about how to keep your pipes so nice & clean though. Funny, I wonder why they would even need cleaning if the bike hardly gets ridden???????? Need more riding topics & less on how to clean pipes or add more useless bling. Put in 70 hrs this week at work yet still managed to knock out over 600 miles on the bike as well. Maybe when I get back from todays ride I will type up an article on how to get your bike dirty & just leave it like that because who really gives a 5hit if the bike is a little dirty? |

Kinger...Sounds like the Brew City/Bilanski track day deal is to die for. Sorry I missed your reference to cost in your report on the BCB website. Looks like my speed reading skills or my glasses are taking a dump, eh? Good luck to all at the track day |

Outrider, want to join us at the track???? Aren't you a KM Hog member? I would think that would be good enough. I bet you could get Dyna to haul your bike for you, unless he has already promised someone else. CJ, are you going to make the track day? Toni and Melissa are planning on going! |

I can transport outie and his bike if he'd like to go. Got a trailer that can carry at least 3-4 bikes, plus at least two bikes in the bed of my Dodge Ram. |

Thanks for the offers, I really appreciate that. I may be there as an observer but not as a participant. Think I will leave that for the young and restless and focus on the Kettle. Heck, it's cheaper unless I get a ticket. Plus I won't have to buy anymore riding gear...and tires. LOL Incidentally, I just belong to National HOG, no local chapter affiliation, although I do participate in a number of the open events. Of interest, on the Harley side of the equation, that is quite common in the Milwaukee area. Steve...were you at Hal's Community Day? I thought I recognized you from pics on the BWB talking to Caralee at the door when I pulled up on the wide glide, but could not find you once I got inside. Just wanted to say "Hi" and finally meet you. Oh yeah. Pick up truck...Trailer? Oh man, am I jealous. No such luck with a lowered Miata. I get to ride to the track. LOL |
