I wish I could go I have only put about 75 miles on my bike this year, would someone go to Booneville and help rebuild Tinas parents house so I could go riding? No worry about me taking the milage trophy this year. |

Final reminder. Long distance ride tomorrow departing Gail's at 9am sharp. It's going to be a great ride full of curves and good food. Scott, sorry you can't make it, but I understand. You are kind to help your in-laws. Loren, your excuse is okay, if a bit tenuous. The rest of you have no excuse and need to get out and play! C'mon! Is this a motorcycle club or what?!?! Hope to see you there! |

One other note, on a lot of the major hwy's in Montana, there is no speedlimit during daylight hours ahem, this is NOT true and you will get a ticket if you're going over 70 on a 2 lane or 75 on the 4 lane. Now for the qualifier, on most of the backroads there is little to no enforcment, so stay off I-90 and you're a-okay. Rob (in MT) |

Dennis, with the current price of gas all we can do is sit back and watch. A lot of us just can't take a whole day away from our families to ride, we would like to but it just is how it is. Loren did you get your patent yet? By the way I think some people will have a lot of catching up to do once we make our June trip through the Black Hills, Yellowstone, Glacier Park, and then back through them all over again. Watch out Loren and Charles. |

Hey... I siphoned enough gas out of the neighbors car to go to Gail's this morning to do the releases and take these photos! How much can 6 foot of garden hose and a 2 1/2 gallon gas can cost??

We're back! What a great ride and a great lunch! 268 miles total over some great curves and some knarly roads (boy, those farmers know how to tear up some pavement). Dennis, thanks for taking the pics! My odometer reads 31,900 or about 4,500 miles since the contest started in January. |

Sorry guys, Tim is right,Sunday rides don't work well at my house either. Try a couple Saturdays and I will play when I can. Oh yea, 1500 miles since we started and NO Gerbing gear, I ride back and forth to work almost everyday, now I got my rain suit back it maybe MORE real soon!! I am going for a afternoon ride here in aabout an hour and I will probably get another 100 or so towards Gardner--- Ottawa area and back. |

Just finished the skills test for my MSF class (tomorrow is the written). I was thinking I would need some good excuse to go on weekend rides with y'all, but now I have the best. This weekend my wife announced SHE wanted to take the class, and take over my Blast when/if I move up to another bike. Sometimes, life IS good. |

Dusty, All I do when I ride is wish hole heartly, that my wife would some way, some how, take interest in motorcycles. Hell, I would be pleased if she told me to go out and buy a BMW cruiser or something (no pun intended Dennis), so she could ride on it with me. So in my jealous plea, please keep her on track---don't let her slip to the dark side as mine has, you my man have been blessed as well as others!!!! amen! |

O.K. WHO WAS IT!!!!!!!!! At around 5:35 pm Heritage park at the 159th stop sign on a City X. C'mon-- I saw you WITH OUT your HELMET or gear. I was the one coming back from my 180 mile'r from down around Gardner Ottowa area on my Black XB12R---Blue leather jacket. Just curious, wanting to hook up. Also MR. President, (Dennis) Could you bring some of those pass out cards if you have some to our monthly meeting. I ran into a group of poor lost sole's with no club to belong to, and they inquired about buying Buell's. And wouldn't ya know it, no damn cards!!! |

Paul, the key is to get your wife into a hobby that she can enjoy. If she has one to enjoy herself its easier on you to enjoy yours. At least thats what has always seemed to work. |

ESTIMATED standings on the Mileage Reward Program Charles... 1st place Dennis & Sam tied for last... Sam may have a teeny bit more mileage than me if there has been more than two dyno runs during the final tuning of his engine!

Paul (S1), That was me, Drake on the City X. I live right around there. I wanted to hear what the D&D sounded like riding with no helmet on. It was just a few blocks. I won't do it again...sorry. I did see you. I was surprised to see another Buell out of the blue too! |
