Brad, Yep, he's the one. We are ready to pick up an go right now! I'd really hate it if Alex can't come, he's a great guy to ride with. When I rode over to Dubuque a couple of weeks ago he was saying that Deere was working them like crazy. That's the nice thing about 25+ years of seniority, I can tell them to take a hike. If he doesn't come we can cancel one of the rooms at Show Low. I don't mind sleeping on a cot. I ran a Mapquest map last night to my house and it was pretty good. I was going to email it to you then realized I didn't have your address. Darryl is taking Tue. off but I'm going to probably work part of the day. | ||

Honestly guys, I am trying real hard to swing the finances. My little mishap has really bitten me hard in the wallet, and relief doesn't look to be coming anytime soon...So far its a "I think I can I think I can I think I can". The other issue is my meds. 3 different painkillers, with one that acts directly on the nerves makes it very difficult to drive. Having spoken to the Doc yesterday, he is of the opinion that my dosages will not change on the 20th because I will be starting PT very shortly. Its the Neurontin that causes the problems. Unless that one comes down in dosage...well I can run shotgun in the chase truck if some one else is driving  It is very much a safety first deal. If it comes down to it, I will atleast see you all Friday at Arrowhead and see if we can swing up and meet the group for other stuff...My frustration level is just hitting harder and harder each day. Yesterday I HAD to drive so I only took partial dosage of my Neurontin enough to keep it in my system but not enough to impare my ability to drive...and I reached new levels of pain. I thought my arm hurt when they moved it setting the splint at the wreck site...anyways I am truly trying my damndest to still be part of this. | ||

If Mikel doesn't go I'll have half a room open... If no one wants it I'll need to cancel it and re-book a single room. Lemme know. That said... If you do find a way to make it I'll certainly chip in for fuel for the chase truck. I'd imagine that would get pretty spendy at this point. | ||

Yeah... I'm still up in the air, but will know for sure Monday morning. I'm headed to Appleton tomorrow morning for Dave's Fly and Ride (Ride and Ride???) shindig and need to see if I have the good grace of my boss to get another few days off. I have been working like mad, unlike Mike, I am the low guy on the totem pole. Mike, I'll give you a jingle Sunday or Monday when I know what is going on, hope that's ample time for ya! I spent a little time in the Crisis Center tonight. It's a snap to use a M2 tank bag, saddle bags and tail pack on an S2. Just had to buy som e1" nylon web strap and a few ends. Whip up a couple of new harnesses and it ready to go! Looks like the were made for the S2. A quick oil change this weekend and I'll be ready to rock. Mike, I havent decided if I'm riding to your place or trailering. Depends on the weather I guess. I'm shooting you my email and phone number stuff. Talk to you soon. This is going to be a good time! Right now there's a forecast for rain on Monday, Tue. isn't posted yet. If you ride we can drop you off at Hwy 20 & I35 on the way home (of course it could be snowing then too). That would save about an hour. My shock is finally supposed to be delivered today. I'm looking forward to not bouncing down the road. | ||

That's 11 bikes Friday morning, and possibly 15 on Saturday. Wow, the crowd sure thinned out! Ferris, keep an eye on your weather, whatever you have on Monday and Tuesday will more than likely be here on Thursday and Friday. Right now, it's pretty cold up on Hannigan's Meadow, up on Hwy 191. But here in the valley it's been in the 90's. So be prepared for hot, warm, AND cold riding throughout the weekend.  | ||

Bart, you're missing some of the guys who don't post here on a regular basis...like Jim, Bill, and even Al. There's a couple more AZ Buellers that I can't remember off hand, that said they were coming too. I don't think the number is going to be as bad as you think! I'll be around for the meet and greet if you all go out Thursday night (keepin' it mellow I'm sure!) and for Friday morning. I may even be able to swing the ride to Prescott. I just can't be gone the whole weekend. Don't fret, it'll be just fine! | ||

I've been trying to contact AL for a week now, I think he is still traumatized about his buddy crashing on his S2. I don't think he'll be making it.  Your right about the guys that don't post much, not to mention the guys that Arrowhead may have recruited. I'm not worrying about it to much, just need to keep the sponsers posted. We need 25 to confirm the reservation and discount at the go-cart track. I'm hoping everyone will have great time. | ||
