They had one new K1200S (that's the new 176 HP hot rod sport bike), a K1200LT (the full bagger touring bike), a K1200rt (sport touring twin, a Triumph Rocket III, and another BMW multi-sport type bike. I road the first three of the list. |

When the KC MOB goes for rides, what communications do you use? CBs? FRS/GMRS? What brands and models? NONE,there really isnt much communicating of that kind going on, |

Had my bike dynoed today to try and get the carb dialed in,this is where its at now, with 536 lift camms and 42 makuni with a 162.5 main jet-if I go to a 45 makuni and bigger camms I can pick up more on the top end HP,but thats no big deal, just dyno brag rites,it rides kinda fun |

Hey Dusty..............NO BIG DEAL!All of us who have ridden for any amount of time have done similar stuff with similar results......sometimes things JUST happen. Its a good learning process, learn, try not to do THAT again, and go on.Isnt that right PAUL!!HEHE |

I thought it might give y'all a chuckle. And that is why my wife agreed to get the Blast for a year before I decided what NEW bike to get. Dropping a cheap used bike is better than an expensive NEW bike. And today, she thinking she may want it when I am done...... All in all, a great learning day. Now if I can just get this oil leak shut down..... (Message edited by dustyjacket on April 10, 2005) |

This is a double dyno run one with the baffle on the force pipe and one without also I dropped from a 165 main jet to a 160 and that helped bring the numbers up some I also run .536 screaming eagle cams, dyna 2000 ignition, and roller rockers and a set of thunderstorm heads mildly ported by "HARLEY DAVE" out at Gails in Grandview... |

Keith, the truth shall set you free! I can't tell you how hard it was to act naive, when you pulled a wheelie past me on my XB, on our way out to the Cracker Barrel, and said all I have are screaming eagle cams. Oh yeah I think you forgot the force pipe in your list of modifications. |

Can't read!!!!! You are correct the force pipe was mentioned. Anyway still it doesn't take away from the fact that your tuber is dangerously fast!!!!! Did I mention that when I got home that night I kissed the ground, and was happy to be alive. The last leg of the ride I guess I pulled a rookie mistake and forgot to buckle my helmet. So when we were going MAC 3 I was holding my helmet on with one hand at times. Ok vets start laughing. |

Usually something like this (when KCBill attempts a wheelie) or this (when Sam farts) Or this, (when Paul hits the deck and twists his knee.) |

I don't see any pencil marks on that Dyno Sheet. Did they figure out how to run that thing? |

Dave, yes they know how to use their Dyno at Gails,AND can build BUELL motors also!It absolutely amazes me that people think there are only a couple of people that can work on evolution(BUELL) motors and will drive vast distances to get it done by them.If Central were still the BRAG sponsor, those who bashed GAILS would still be bashing Gails, and those who supported Gails still would still be supporting Gails.Youre a basher! If most of this group would have taken the time to get to know the people at Gails, long before now, they would have learned quite abit. Its their, not Gails loss. The word hypocrite about says it all. This isnt necessarily directed towards you Dave, but the whole BRAG group. Those in the group know whom I am talking to.They will be the first to complain about ANYTHING that happens at Gails that doesnt go as THEY thought it should,or be the first to say I TOLD YOU SO when something goes alittle off. |

At the risk of stirring the pot, is the main disagreement with Gail's their pricing of Buells? Or something else? After having spent time at the "other 2" H-D dealers in Missouri, I feel more comfortable at Gail's, but they do charge above MSRP for Buell parts I found. Gails does NOT charge over list. How many times do they have to tell us that? |

Dusty... As Richie said... read the archives and that will be the best way to see all the discussion and issues. I think Gail's has made an effort to change as it relates to much of it. More work on their part could make things better. Change takes time. You will also see I was/am one of the most critical voices... and through circumstances of losing our club director... I became club director. I have not been shy in my contacts with the dealership... but each issue has been quickly and fairly addressed. OH TRIPPER... Would you have any idea why when I edit the demo day list, the first name of one of the volunteers is changed to an incorrect nickname?????? Is someone being funny at my expense??????? Or is one of my recessive personalities editing the list??? |

Wow. Reading all those archives fried my eyes..... I was amazed Saturday when I ordered $708 of Buell parts and accessories, that they charged me 15% above the Buell web site MSRP. I didn't really examine the list until he came up with the final price, which was higher than my estimate. But what choice did I have? Hopefully this won't happen much. (and when I got home, I found out he only ordered 1 mirror when my typed list I gave him said 2. Darn it.) (And, the guy didn't know anything about the free Buell hat, so I assumed they weren't with the program. I now see I should have taken my coupon to the sales desk. Darn #2) (Message edited by dustyjacket on April 13, 2005) |

I don't remember when the hat deal ends. Ask for Roger Fleener or Tom the sales manager... they can tell you about the hat coupon deal. |

Hey Dennis.... It were'nt me! I was looking for the edit when you complained but I didn't see anything odd. You saying someone messed with Chris' name? I wouldn't give him any at all. Best thing we got going at our sponsor (Roger merits love also!) Now Bill, I might mess with. If anyone edited a post his name would appear on the bottom, no way around that. Let me edit your post to be sure. |
