well, I just got the word on the "deals" that Arrowhead will be offering the SpringFast riders. Here is a copy of the email I received from Floyd, the service manager: Art, we are offering oil and filter changes at $52.00 chrome filter is $3.50 extra. Tire installs will be $100.00 for labor front and rear, $50.00 labor for 1 tire. If your guys can provide me with their tire requests, I can get them from our warehouse. I will need a credit card # to secure the tires. We will go from advertised tire prices for you. Thanks. Floyd A. Dianetti Service Manager Arrowhead Harley-Davidson Should you decide to take advantage of the "deals", for tires, go to AZmotorsports.com and find the tires you want, then copy the part number and price. Then contact Floyd at Arrowhead and give him the info, they will be waiting for you when you get here. There should be no problem getting service done on Thursday, if you call ahead and set up an appointment. (Message edited by bartimus on April 01, 2005) |

I was hoping they would at least give us a 10% discount on the tires. Their owned by AZ motorsports so they HAVE to honor the prices on the website. Even though they do mark them up considerably for the HD crowd. at least we save on the shipping!!! (Message edited by bartimus on April 01, 2005) |

Brad/Alex, I was able to get 4 bikes on the trailer so it looks like we're good to go. Bring a couple of straps along, soft-straps for the grips would be good. I have some pics but couldn't get them resized to fit. |

Bad Billy, what's it looking like for weather? it's been mighty grumpy here in SoCal of late (snow almost down to the lake a couple of nights ago), and it always seems like you guys get our weather a couple of days after we're done with it. see y'all soon. FB&D |

Jerry, the weather you have been sending us has fortunately been passing by NORTH of Phoenix. Flagstaf got nailed with snow a week or two ago, and I think Prescott got some snow also. But it's clearing fast, the temps have been climbing, and the snows have been melting. All is looking good for the upcoming adventure. |

he he he, ouch Jerry!!! They ALL have meat this year!!! I already had to replace the front tire on the CityX. developed a bubble on the side. The S1 is good to go with a set of Diablo's. And the S2 of course only has 3000 miles on the new Pilots I put on last year!

Well.....there will absolutely be NO Springfast for me. I just sold my house in Tucson (literally two minutes ago!)and need to be packed and ready to move out by the 29th! I'm soooooo bummed but relieved that I'll be in Phoenix with my whole family soon. Maybe I'll try sneak out for Friday's leg of the ride to Prescott, but I'm my mind is running a million miles an hour with all the crap I need to get accomplished in the next three weeks I have no idea what will be happening that weekend. Ah well...maybe next year... |

Brian, You really should have worked a better deal with the buyer, after all, it IS a sellers market at the moment. Ya gotta set the priorities properly. But you have friends, we can help you move also buddy. I've got a truck AND a Van. I'll help you move whatever you want when I'm in town. Whatever it takes man, you can't miss this! It looks like I don't need a TPS reset this weekend... If you can have everything packed I'll help this weekend too. |

I appreciate the offers guys but there is no realistic chance of me going on this ride and have a marriage to come home to! With me working during the week up here, there is just too much stuff for my poor wife to do. I really was looking forward to it, but in the back of my head I knew something would come up because of the move. Like I said, I may make the Friday morning leg of the trip, so it might not be a total loss. |

The group is getting smaller by the day. I don't think Alex is going to make it, Brian has dropped out, Wycked will be driving the chase truck instead of riding. Is it time to do a roll call to see who is actually going to make it? I'm going!! Just me, myself, and I... who else is going to make it????? |
