Steve, Not a big deal. I have been meaning to tell everyone. I just hadn't since I haven't officially given notice at my current job yet. Lots of things going on. I am using this weekend to get my '95 S-10 road worthy for a 170 mile daily commute! I also have a line on a barely used chevy prizm that was some little old lady's car. Not my ideal form of transportation but reliable and gets good mpg! I will also be using the bike once the weather turns a little more. I am looking forward to the job but not necessarily leaving all the nice people I have met behind. Fortunately I am not moving that far away. |

Ya never know. I am supposed to start there the 28th of this month, but it might be delayed another week so we can finish up everything we have in progress here. If thats the case then I wont be there until the 21st of March since im hitting Daytona first. Will be doing the commute deal myself for awhile, well sorta commute since I have an apartment up there all ready to go, so I just come hom on weekends sorta like Dave has been doing for the last year. |

Wow, this weather sucks! Glad we went for a ride yesterday Picked up a pair of Buell "adventurer" jackets off ebay the last couple of weeks. Those things are WARM. 32 degrees riding around, and I was toasty warm. And the thing has 12 pockets! |

It seems that Tom had neglected to renew brewcitybrag.com domain. I got a spam email saying it was available to my .brewcitybrag.org email. So I registered it now. So in a couple of days, it will also be brewcitybrag.com also |

All wanna ditch your mid-winter blues? check out the Chicago Buells and Blues thread over on Home Court Advantge -- this started as a way to hel Jack Reinhart celebrate his birthday (Jack's an original member of the Buell family in East Troy, and an all 'round loon), and has expanded to an event of Homeric proportions (well, it'll be big fun, at any rate) Saturday night, 26 March, The Tommy Castro Band will play at the Clearwater Theatre (very cool venue for this kinda thing!) in West Dundee -- this band does a great job of playing Chicago-style blues -- contrary to popular urban legend, one cannot hear the water rushing over the edge of the planet form there -- gonna be very cool -- check it out (there may be a surprise guest or three, as well) |

I have the club's check book and money from Dull. He is going to be gone for a while. Who should this be given to and when can we hook up for the exchange? |

Doughnut, Glad to hear that Tom got you the account stuff. If you can make the meeting on the 10th, that would be a good time. If you prefer to get rid of the stuff faster, you may be best to contact Caralee at Hal's and see if she would take it until the meeting. |

The UP was fun as usual! We had two great days of skiing. Followed by lots alcohol consumption and hanging out with good friends. I have figured out that as I get better at skiing and start taking more chances (terrain park, jumps) that it hurts a little more! How was the party? |

Glad to hear that you had a great time! The party was a lot of fun, but Jason figured out that something was going on when we were at dinner that night--so it wasn't a surprise party, neeless to say |

Hellion, I'm *REALLY* sorry we didn't make it. I had some last minute emergency at work that prevented us from going. Again, I'm *REALLY* sorry. I hope Jason had a good time, and I still think a nice Blue PowerRanger would have made a good gift (Message edited by Steve_mackay on March 01, 2005) |

Recap of last minute, short notice, multi BRAG club officers meeting. Well we had 8 people there so not a bad turn out given the short notice. We decided that the second Sunday of every month, starting in May is a gathering at the Hamburger Haus in Dundee. It is, I have been told, already a bike hangout and is right in the middle of the good roads in the Kettle. By doing this we should have a good number of Buell congregating without having to have big group rides. All groups will ride their own route to Dundee and back home. Think mini Rock Store atmosphere. Riders that don't care to ride in a group at all can just ride to Dundee. Meeting time will be 1:00 PM or there abouts. This will also take pressure off club officers as to planning things to do. Those riders that can make it, make it, those that can't, come the next month. It will also make it easy to remember for club members. Other stuff April 30th Erik and the Thunderbolts at Lakeshore HD/Buell May 14th Open House HD/Buell of Appleton Aug 6th River run to Dubuque, Lakeshore HD/Buell July 23rd Stunt Fest at Union Grove Sept 17-18th Ride around Lake Michigan Thanks to Steve for lighting a fire under this project! |

I thought I would give you guys an update on my new job! The job has been going well. I am getting busier by the day. The commute isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It takes about 80-100 minutes each way. I don't have to fight much traffic on either end either. The house went on the market last monday (3/14). They didn't allow any showings until the open house this past sunday (3/20). We received 4 offers on Sunday!!!! One offer was for 4,000 more than asking price, 2 were at list price, and one was 4,000 less than list. We ammended one of the offers that were at list and they accepted the ammendments!! Now you may be wondering why we took the offer at list......it had NO CONTIGENCIES! No inspection, no financing, no nothing. Just a real clean deal. So now we have to get moving on finding a house in the madison area. We are going to look at some places in Janesville on saturday and another place just outside of madison as well. |

Coolice, He got it started. The bike has a factory alarm. It was disabling the starter. My dad thought he disarmed it, but he had to arm then disarm the alarm. The guys at bmwlt.net were very helpful. |

Kinger...Check the alarm out for current draw in the valet (disarmed) mode. Most alarms draw juice when they are in the valet mode and don't in the armed mode compliments of the relay set up. Not knowing, could result in your Dad having a dead battery when he least expects it. |
