Today my Firebolt was water cooled. This is the first time I've ridden in really heavy rain. Thank God for PVC rain gear. I only live 15 miles from my work, but the last time I drove the cage in the rain on a Friday, it took me 1:45 mins to get home. Took me about :35 mins today. Better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick. Man I love my bike. Quick question for all you not-so-fair-weather bikers with the XB9R. When I got off the FWY the idle was about 150-200 rpms lower than it should be. No stumble or anything like that, but noteworthy all the same. Seems fine now. Anyone else had this "problem"? Any info or suggestions would be welcome. Stacker, out |

You may want to move this thread to the Quick Board or the XBoard. I think you'll get a lot more feedback. |

Newbie! LOL! You will get more feedback over in the XB section... Love ya bro You'll see I post on here a lot. When I'm on a 48 hour shift, there's only so much work you can do. When I need a break, I pop in here... When I was at Pendleton for Staff Course, it rained like every other day. I don't recall that my idle changed any, and I have to agree, when Californians freak out at the sight of the wet stuff, it's great to be able to cruise effortlessly past them. I need to get the law changed here in Az to make lane splitting legal... (Message edited by charlieboy6649 on March 20, 2005) |

Thanx 4 the heads-up, but don't know how to move it. Know more about bikes than computers. |

Just start a new thread under the XBoard. No big deal. |
