I picked her up today! Shiny new wheel, rotor, and tire. All cleaned up and ready to go. These guys at HHD are 100% on the money. I only had one little hangup and they are fixing that tomorrow. It was an honest mistake. I dropped off a set of brake pads that I bought and they installed them while they had the wheel off. They charged me for my own pads by mistake. No biggie. They are giving me the money back tomorrow. I am going to go ride somewhere on Friday I think.... any takers? If not...see you all on Saturday! Nick | ||

Rich: Things have just been really busy for us right now. My company is toying with sending me to Daytona... a transfer. That is a lot to think about really. We just added another new airplane at work. There is some of the checks that have to be done that I am the only one they will let do, so after working a 12 hour shift in the office, I have been going back and forth to the airport, hence a few 18 hour work days. Couple that with the fact that I just decided to stay off the message boards for a while and concentrate on other things, and having a broke dick bike, well it all adds up to me being away.  I am going to try to ride some on Friday morning if you want to come along. I have no idea where yet...but I know the 10 miles from the dealer to home tonight were just enough to •••• me off that I had other things to do! See you all later | ||

About Club Paradise: If you didn't come over to the club from Hard Rock, you didn't miss anything! That was the most boring and mind numbing place I have ever seen! Maybe it was just the night or whatever, but it sucked! How was the crowd at Play It Again? We just decided to call it a night so I could get an hour nap before work. | ||

Anyone want to ride Wednesday? I am planning on maybe riding to Willow Beach and back around the lake. Not really sure.. but thinking about 10ish. Any takers? Rich: we used to go to Jaguars. My wife had her own little "pet" there.  We talked about Cheetahs... we'll give that a try some time. Next time it will be on Friday night when I am off on Saturday. I am gonna do the Parhump run for sure. Maybe we could all meet somewhere and ride out to the Blue Diamond Saloon together? Maybe the usual meeting spot at the Chevron? Martin: More of the guys were talking about Laughlin. It seems like most of them are riding back and forth because of the cost of the rooms. I may have to do the same because of work. See ya all | ||

The flyer said registration is at the Blue Diamond Saloon between 9 and 10:30 There are two phone numbers you can call if you want to try and pay early: Steff Purdy 595-5711 and Larry Hughes: 877-3182 They are hitting the Chicken Ranch, Sheri's Ranch, and the Short Branch Saloon. Hey all: Back from Ft Lewis. The weather up there was nice. You all had the rain that is supposed to be up there. Froze my arse off while I was there. Vegas people are not supposed to see frost on the ground every day. It stayed there until almost 10am every day. Update on the bike, still in the shop will not be able to get back or any good info untill monday. So I will post at that time. | ||

For anybody interested in the Laughlin River Run here is the web add: http://www.laughlinriverrun.com/. I will be down there for at least the weekend. We may have a campsite for the whole week. If any boday is planning on riding back and forth and does not mind camping let me know. The rates are pretty cheap and the showers at Davis camp are nice. As I get more info I will post. | ||
