I don't like Harley Davison tiny diameter tube frames. It makes them look like bicycles with big engine, and also that steel tubes frames rust. |

Hahaha.....welcome to 1950. Modern tube frames .... are the pinnacle of engineering. Materials science has pretty much obviated the corrosion. The Buell frame, at its time the stiffest in the industry, took tube frames to a new level. Miguel Galuzzi did great but Erik Buell set them standard. It’s fairly complicated and has been written about ad nauseum. But, sit .... readers from the 90’s will recall my “sit on a milk crate instructions ..... and look closely at a Buell frame. |
