I have decided to sell my highly modified Harley Dyna Superglide Sport. It is a 2001 FXDX with a highly modified engine and running gear. Please check out the Classifieds for details. This is one of the few Harleys that a Buell rider will enjoy riding in the twisties, and this particular bike is a real performer.

Finally sold her yesterday. Paid $7,300 for it a couple of years ago, sold it for $7,000 yesterday. Shows that Harleys do hold their value if you don't pay too much for them in the first place. It was fun trying to get it to behave like a real motorcycle, and compared to most Harley's, I guess the experiment was more or less successful: tires, fork brace, steering damper, and proper suspension setup did improve the handling quite a bit. Still, compared to my other bikes, it was rather primitive, much too heavy and once the novelty wore off, I found I didn't have much in common with other Harley guys, who seem to be more interested in style than performance: never could lure one on to the back roads for a bit of a canter. That, and the late unpleasantness in East Troy made it less fun to own. Addios, old girl.
