Thought I would post this here since this IS a Harley thread. I've got a 1992 Sportster rolling chassis, fresh black powder-coated frame, mag wheels, fenders, most of the electrics, oil tank, and side cover. No motor, carb, exhaust, gas tank, or seat. $750 OBO
I was going to use it for an XR750 replica project, but I'm just too swamped to get anything going now, and need room for another new (to me) bike... |

Looks like a good start for a project... The price sounds right. If I didn't have a Commando and an S1 "almost finished" I'd be very interested!

Yea, I'm sure with ALL the S2 projects you have going on, you wouldn't be interested in buying it back! LOL I need to thin the herd, One S2 is gone, all three dirt bikes are gone, My Uly will be gone by the end of the month, and an 1125CR will fill it's parking spot, next to the ST1300. The '99 S3 motor I was going to drop into that frame is gone also... |

I don't hit the site here too much anymore and definitely don't rummage around the sub-forums like I used to, but that is almost right along the lines of what I'd been hoping to come across one day. But job loss, temp new job status, other stuff has killed my shopping budget (not to mention road trip allowances to pick up projects). Bummer. Hope you got it sold or swapped off by now. |

Sorry economy man.... besides in need a BARE frame thats late 60's to early 70's. And cases with good papers would help too. If it makes ya feel any better the price is right, that is if everyone wasn't "budget retentive". |

Hummmmmmm. What sportster motor fits this frame? A buell motor? I could trade you an S2 frame and some parts for it.... would kind of like to make a buell bobber...REX |

I shouldn't even ask this but I've thought about finding an S2 frame and converting the M2 into an S2. Not even thinking too hard about it for another year or two. Never mind, just thinking out loud. |
