Did some work on the '64 XLCH. Trying to get her back to stock as best I can. I installed the stock front fork tubes, put all the stuff back in the hub for the front brake (still waiting on a lever), lowered the gas tank back down and changed the oil and adjusted the pushrods.

I took these pictures after the work was done:
















...and to remind you, this is what is used to look like:




Then I started it up. Heard a really bad noise which I thought was a loose primary chain slapping around. Took off the primary cover and found the clutch hub had a broken and bent stud, another bent stud and another loose stud.

$325 in parts to fix. Crap.
