I'm sure this is a old subject, but I'm a new member. Need some new pads and I don,t know what to get, or where. 04 XB12R Thanks |

I just got the Lyndall Gold front and back from Al at http://www.americansportbike.com/. They feel pretty good, don't know how long they'll last though. |

Dave Thanks for the info. I'm starting to get a little chatter like feel. It started after some really hard braking. I figured I'd change the pads. Hope the front rotor not warped. |

Make sure the steering head is torqued properly as well. |

Norris, My front brakes chattered with only a thousand miles on the bike. I took it to a dealer twice with the tech saying its normal. (I don't think he really felt the same chatter I was feeling) And this is the best part, Weeks later, I took it in for a TPS reset and, VOILA! my chatter vanished as well! HA! It's probably the steering head like M1combat said. Check it first. |
