Thats consistent with what I am seeing, about 2500 miles on mine (aggressive but not abusive) and they look around 1/4 worn (which is outstanding relative to my experience with other tires that grip this well).

I just turned 3200 on mine and I'd say they are a 1/3 worn. I'm the same as reep (aggressive but not abusive). Good grip, take off and braking.

Well, on my FZR the BT-10 would be 3/4 worn by now. I am really impressed with the Pirelli's on the SX model. I plan to stick with them.(no pun intended)

cool thanks guys i like the agressive looking tread patern on them and was thinking of going with them so i just thought id ask how yall were doing on them so far cuz im looking for a tire that has some longevity to it and 4200 sounds like more than most tires out there.

2400 miles here. I'm a pretty conservative rider [no burn outs, etc] but I'm not sure mine are going to make it to 4K.

I seem to eat up tires a bit prematurely on all my bikes, for some reason. I believe it is related to the large number of chip seal roads we have around here. There are also small sections of gravel I ride on regularly.

Regardless, these tires have already lasted 1000 miles longer than the Dunlop 207's I had on the XB9SL and that's a good thing.

BTW, in previous threads about tire longevity, there appeared to be a relationship between the weight of the rider and how long the Dunlops lasted. The guys that weighed 150 or so were getting almost twice the mileage out of their tires as the guys that were 200 or above.
