Ok, just tried to install the saddle bags on my xb9sx. Was wondering how many others have tried this. I noticed there's brackets for the reflectors to relocate them. Only problem I can see is that they block the turn signals. So, anyone try this and can tell me how this works?

I put mine on, and didn't bother with the brackets. I don't have the reflectors anyway.

Hey Ryan,
I didn't mess with the reflector brackets either. Down there in Retirement, FL however you may be the wiser to install the brackets. I didn't bother with trying so I don't know if they fit right. I did notice only one of my brackets came with double sided tape on it though...

Other than that did you get your straps to mate up correctly, and the turn signals to fit into the molded in notches? I fiddled with mine for 2 hours last night, and, well the friggin things just aren't designed right. The turn signal dips are too far in towards the middle and too high. And the straps are too short.

Later,
Nick

Glad to know I'm not the only one fighting with it. Getting the seat on was a pain too.

The guy in the brown truck delivered my saddle and tail bags today from Daves. It took a little messing around but they fit OK. Placement of the rear strap is critical to allow the seat latch to work.

I noticed, anyways, got them on and overall I'm pleased. Least it gives me some luggage room.
