First off i would like to thank all of the "helpful people" on the board. I bought a 2003 xb9sl last year and i recently signed onto the board. So far i've learned a lot, bought some stuff from dave and talked to some interesting characters. I know that some people get annoyed at seeing the same posts over and over again and the only thing i can say is......read on. If you are getting annoyed by new people asking questions then why not ignore it and move on?? If you have enough time to go through and criticize everyones comments, then i suggest you find something a little more constructive to do. I know the other post is already archived and i would like the consider the issue dead... i guess i get aggravated just like everyone else | ||

I agree. I does bother me a little to see the same question asked multiple times from the same person though... That torques my belt a little... | ||

I say post away... The only stupid question is the one not asked. This is a forum, not manual. I wouldn't expect it to read like one. For that matter, Blake doesn't get paid enough to organize it like one... Uhg, what a job that would be. | ||

I agree with DaveS, we were all new here once, hence the same questions asked by the new folks as we all asked ourselves. What we (as semi experienced) can do is now answer the questions and give advice, solutions to the issues we all overcame. If we don't the same topics will keep going full circle (round and around). So ask away, we all faced the same issues, just would have been good to gather all the experience that is now available. Welcome to all the new guys/girls. This is your forum, the XBoard. So having said that... Who's up for another round of "TFI" questions.. ha ha... Greetings to all... | ||

Welcome! When I was new, I didn't even know what a knowledge vault was... Now I know. When I see a post referring to a previously discussed topic, I like to just smile and think, I've done it... Be helpful people. I like what Wycked does, he posts a link to the KV in the area that the newbie needs, thus introducing him/her to the vault. Wish I had someone do that for me... | ||

yea thanks blake this past year that i have sat in iraq i have learned more about the motorcycles i love then i learned in the past about 15 or more years that i have lusted over them (and my like 2 weeks of riding one before deploying) | ||
